What can be said about this house. The pictures don't do it justice. Patrica is wonderful, very helpfull and available all the time. We stayed for 2weeks, even that was not enough. This house has everything you would ever need. It was like home! The beds were comfortable, grounds were impeccable. The village of Cetona is about a 5 minute drive for the villa where you will find a grocery store, bakery and several little stores. Saturday morning is the market in Cetona fresh vegetables, meats. Try the Sports caffe about 5:30pm. The Villa is even more beautiful in person. We have suggested this place to several friends and relatives and hope to return soon! Gracie Patricia! Geweldig genoten

Wij, twee stellen en een hond, hebben een week in "La Casetta" doorgebracht. De woning biedt alles wat je nodig hebt in een werkelijk schitterende omgeving. Omdat de woning hoger gelegen is wordt je elke dag getrakteerd op een fantastisch uitzicht. Uiteraard hebben we veel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Patrizia is erg gastvrij en ook al spreekt ze maar een paar woordjes Engels, ze maakt wel duidelijk wat ze bedoelt. Toscane is mooi en dus ook deze omgeving. Tal van dorpjes waaronder Cetona, waar de tijd stil lijkt hebben te staan en een paar grotere steden binnen reisafstand. Wij waren er begin september en het was over het algemeen niet zo druk. Zowel de omgeving, de wijn, het eten als de woning zijn een absolute aanrader voor een relaxte vakantie in een prachtige omgeving.

Wunderschön und entspannt

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderschön. Entspannend. Lage top. Kommunikation hat gut funktioniert und bei Anfragen wurde gleich geholfen und sich gekümmert. Küche ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste etwas aufgerüstet werden.

Wonderful week

The villa was beautiful, with generous supplies of everything needed. The owner was caring and very helpful, and the villa and pool, and the fantastic view made the whole experience, great.

Sapevamo che ce ne saremmo innamorati! Un'oasi di pace e serenità.

Posizione splendida in mezzo alla campagna Toscana con vista mozzafiato a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte. Struttura bella e ben tenuta. Personale gentile e disponibilissimo a partire da Patrizia ottima padrona di casa. Piscina bellissima in mezzo agli ulivi e ai cipressi. Pulizia perfetta. Soggiorno perfetto. La Casetta, situato a qualche chilometro da Cetona si è rivelato un posto perfetto per esplorare anche i dintorni.

Heerlijke woning op een fantastische plek!

Samen met onze kinderen van 14 en 13 jaar mochten we een week vakantie vieren in deze woning. Het uitzicht is fantastisch! Aan alle kanten heb je zicht op de heuvels. Ook het zwembad is geweldig! Eerste deel is ongeveer 140 diep en 2e deel 200. Patrizia laat je je meteen thuis voelen. Ze spreekt maar een paar woordjes Engels, maar een vriendin kwam om ons uitleg te geven. Zij spreekt Engels en Duits. Er zitten horren voor de ramen; daardoor kun je ze makkelijker open laten en koelt het ‘s nachts lekker af in huis. Paar supermarkten op een kwartier afstand met de auto, dichterbij in Cetona een kleinere.

we had a wonderful week

The property was very clean and well maintained. The pool was totally fabulous and the views were spectacular. Linda and Patrizia were both extremely helpful and welcoming. Cetona is a lovely small town with great restaurants. A couple of small gripes; the beds at the house were not very comfortable and the listing did not make it clear that the house is very close to the neighbours (20 metres or so) and not far from the A1 Autostrade, which was clearly audible in the evenings. However overall were were very positive indeed about our stay. The house was ideal for a couple: although it has three large bedrooms, the kitchen/living room could be a bit small if there were six people.

Again an amazing experience

Our stay in La Casetta was again a great experience. We were looking for a rather quiet holiday location this summer with all the social distancing requirements and La Casetta was simply perfect: a Charming, very clean house with everything you need, an amazing pool and garden including home grown vegetables and last but not least the truely million dollar views. Just go to Montalcino which is a 1 hour drive, get enough Brunello and you are all set for the reminder of your stay :-)

Amazing week at La Casetta

We had the loveliest time at la casetta. Everything went entirely smoothly and the host was more than willing to help with any and all. My son turned 1 yr old and she graciously organized a birthday dinner for him at a local chef's in home restaurant. The communication was fantastic to say the least. The casetta is on an amazing piece of property, a working farm where we were even lucky enough to see them harvesting grapes. Everything from the villa to the pool to the view (wow the view!!!!) was impeccable. Would absolutely stay a week again with no hesitation. The location was prefect, situated directly between Florence and Rome with a train station 15 mins away for easy access north or south. Cetona has some lovely little restaurants and piazza. Small + quaint towns are not far (Orvieto!! + Montepulciano!!), we couldn't have been happier with our week away. Many thanks again for such a lovely stay!

Tuscan countryside

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint but comfortable Tuscan countryside farmhouse. It was very relaxing and easy to enjoy the view. The location is great for day TripIt to towns in southern Tuscany.

We did it again

We stayed again at the villa last summer. After having spent a week in 2017, we came for two weeks this summer and what shall I say? It again was a perfect stay! Not only the villa itself, the hosts, views and the pool are simply amazing but we also got to know th earea even bette rthis time. We love Cetona at night with its lovely restaurants, and the mandatory digestif for the parents and the ice cream for the kids after dinner on the Piazza. Day trips to Montalcino, Sienna and a few more locations are of course tempting but we always started to miss the villa with its views after a few hours. I guess we will have to come again at some point.

Never to be forgotten!

Had a superb week enjoying quintessential Tuscany staying at La Casetta near Cetona. Fabulous dinner from Patrizia on the first evening was the start of a never to be forgotten holiday. Absolute gem of a place

Absolutely superb site surrounded by olives vines and sunflowers and views to die for with best pool ever had and a joy to be there. Only tiny niggles were spec of kitchen was modest, could do with better coffee maker and toaster. Also second shower needs some tlc. Little things which pale into insignificance as this property is seriously feel good! Would love to return or even buy it! M

Beautifully located house with immaculate garden and pool.

We had a wonderful week at La Casetta, enjoying the gorgeous views from the terrace and the delightful pool. We particularly enjoyed the birds easily spotted from the terrace, seeing swifts and swallows, goldfinches, hoopoe and bee eaters. The property is well maintained, very clean and comfortable, and Patrizia is a kind and generous host. We were particularly grateful for the tart, olive oil and wine, and the homemade jam and pasta sauce. We visited Siena, Montepulciano and Orvieto which are of course amazing, but we do recommend the smaller less touristy towns nearby which are truly delightful, especially Citta della Pieve, Sarteano and Cetona. Great, good value trattorie and ice cream!

Einfach Wundervoll!

Dieses kleine aber feine Ferienhaus hat uns einfach begeistert. Man bezahlt keinen unnötigen schnick-schnack sondern für alles was zählt für einen traumhaften Familienurlaub: Ein sauberes Haus mit allem was man braucht, sehr herzliche Gastgeber (die Dame die sich vor Ort um die Gäste kümmert ist die Nachbarin und ganz herzallerliebst aber auch die eigentliche Vermieterin ist sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit), eine wundervolle Aussicht und einen traumhaften Pool und Garten. Auch die Gegend an sich hat uns verzaubert denn Cetona ist ein sehr schönes Dörfchen mit sehr guten Restaurants und einem sehr Dorfplatz mit viel Charme auf dem wir sehr stimmungsvolle Abende verlebt haben. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben bereits gebucht um wieder zu kommen!

Magical stay in Cetona

We instantly fell in love with this villa the moment we arrived. The view is unbelievable - changing every moment... be sure to get up and watch the sunrise too. The villa is great - we loved how convenient it was for touring all around Tuscany. Everyone was super helpful and friendly (thank you Patrizia and family!)- we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. We can't wait to go back. This place truly is a gem!

A Tuscan Treat

Tuscany is the place to visit in Italy and this is the place to stay in the Tuscan countryside. Imagine watching the sun rise over the vineyards while you sip your coffee and nibble on your pan dulce while you plan what city you want to explore today. Siena, Perugia, Assisi, San Gimignano, the Montepulciano wineries. Its All within an hour drive from this lovely villa. Patrizia is your host and is a most engaging person. The villa is comfortable, clean, ideally situated and the town of Cetona, which is a 5 minute drive up the hill, is a most friendly and accommodating place to shop for your necessary items. If you want a place to stay for an unforgettable experience in one of the most lovely and famous wine regions in the world you need look no further.

The best view in Tuscany!

My dream did come true of staying in a villa with the most beautiful view, peaceful, close to two small towns (not many tourist) and close to trains to take us to Siena, Florence and Rome. The villa is clean and very well kept! Patrizia, had a wonderful tart and wine waiting for us, which we enjoyed every morning! We requested dinner for the first night, prepared by Linda was just perfect. Of course we ate on the covered patio-did I mention how amazing the view was? Linda was very helpful with pre-trip questions and suggestions of cities and restaurants to visit. We loved the Cetona, just a short drive from the Villa, where we visited a wine/cheese shop where the owner gave a a tasting! (There are also some really good restaurants) One week was not enough to enjoy the villa and everything else there is to see! Thanks Linda and Patrizia for making this a trip of a life time for me, my sister and friend.

Stunning but simple Tuscany villa that ticks all the boxes and more.

Stunning views. location, proximity, tastefully built & decorated, engaging customer & property manager service, all supported by a fair pricing structure. Our family of 5 had such a wonderful 2 weeks in this lovely villa, nobody wanted to come home to Australia when our time was up. La Casetta is absolutely gorgeous with breath taking views - the setting is even better than the photos suggest. Linda clearly takes great pride in the premises as it is tastefully set up. Patrizia, the property manager, also enjoys what she is doing as she looks after things with a real positive, friendly and warm manner. Another highlight is the location of La Casetta with so many lovely places in close proximity to visit. Not sure where to start. We really loved the ambience of our local Cetona and its piazza. Citta Della Pieve which we stared at day after day perched up on the opposite ridge, is like straight out of a movie set. The Labyrith of Porsenna in Chiusi was fascinating. We also had so much fun in Perugia at the Umbria Jazz Festival - also such a beautiful town with a great atmosphere. The wine in Montepulciano was outstanding as was the food and ambience. We also visited the picture book setting of San Gimignano on our way to Pisa where the kids loved climbing the Leaning Tower. Florence's architecture and of course the Statue of David were real highlights and Siena's main piazza is so lovely. Don't know which place, which experience, was our favourite. Lets call it a tie but perhaps just relaxing round the villa's pool next the vineyard, with our favourite antipasto plate and glass of wine was hard to beat. Thank you so much for letting us stay in La Casetta Linda. As I mentioned to Patrizia we look forward to coming back in the summer of 2017 but we will need to stay longer next time around.

Great central location to visit the Tuscan hill towns

We really enjoyed are stay at La Casetta. Patrizia was an ideal host. She took care of us and filled our every need. She greeted us with a pastry and a bottle of wine. Excellent wine! Working with Linda made our trip to Tuscany a trip to remember. She recommended several smaller great towns that we have never heard of to visit. La Casetta is ideally situated to visit the many hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria. Linda's suggestions for restaurants were great as well as her information print outs about the area and how to return a rental car back to the airport. We will call Linda the next time we visit Tuscany!

Tuscany Treasure La Casseta 3BR/2BA Villa with Pool

The view was breathtaking, right out of a movie. Peaceful and typical Tuscany--rolling hills full of olive trees and vineyards. We enjoyed the privacy and peace and quiet. La Casseta is far enough away from everything but close enough to get there if you desire. We enjoyed being there so much we extended our stay. We found the property to be beautiful and immaculate. They have a lot of pride in their property and it shows. Pool and views are excellent. The house sleeps 5-6 adults comfortably. One recommendation would be to fit in a comfy armchair or two in either the bedroom(s) and or living space. We spent most of our afternoons relaxing outside after a day of sightseeing, on the patio taking in the view or swimming in the pool. My birthday dinner prepared for us at the villa by Patricia was absolutely amazing and is one of my most favorite memories. Her attention to detail, pride in the local vegetables and meats and service blew us all away. Chiusi is a quiet, friendly relaxing town to visit and an easy drive from the villa. The train station at Chiusi is a convenient alternative to driving into Florence or Rome. GPS is so important, but to get to La Casetta Linda’s directions are great. Now getting back to the airport and other points of interest without a GPS is more difficult. Many excellent food/restaurants in nearby villages Several mid evil villages within an hour to hour half drive. Truly something for everyone interests. The more we saw the more we realized there was to see and do. I would return to La Casetta in a heartbeat.

The villa was great!

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany. The villa was great. It was perfect for the four of us and given where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see, it was in an ideal location and a beautiful location as well. Our first full day there we took the train from Chiusi to Orvieto (a half hour away) and spent the day there. Otherwise, we drove everywhere else (Montepulciano, Cetona, Montalcino, Pienza, San Gimingnano, Chiusi, Cortona and Citta della Pieve). Because of the location of the villa, we were able to do and see a lot in a week. We were about an hour and 45 minutes late getting to the villa the first night due to flight delay, etc. But we finally made it to the villa and Yaro was waiting for us (we called him from the airport in Florence to let him know we were on our way). After arriving at the villa, Patrizia came to welcome us and the two of them got us settled in. They couldn't have been more gracious. It was late and we hadn't eaten for several hours. Patrizia called a restaurant in Cetona (Osteria Vecchia) to see if they would stay open until we got there so we could get dinner. They said they would and they were incredibly gracious and hospitable as well. (The food was excellent and we went back another evening for dinner during the week. There is a great little grocery store (Supermercado) in Cetona as well.) Patrizia stopped by a couple of times during the week to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. But everything went well and, as a I already mentioned the villa was perfect for us. We hope to go back again soon.

Fantastic in every way

We were three adults who spent 10 days at La Casseta. After a bumpy arrival in Italy (lost bags, car rental issues, etc.) it was so nice to come to this beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean farm house. Also great to be greeted by Patrizia who had prepared a basket of fruit, a fruit tart, home made wine and olive oil, and had stocked the house with coffee, milk, bottled water, and home-made jam. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the view of the sunrise from the master bedroom was spectacular. The stove, showers, pool, washing machine and all else worked perfectly. We also loved the location that was out in the quiet countryside where we could dine under the milky way, but just 10 minutes by car to Chiusi for shopping, banking, or to take the train to Florence (or Siena or Rome). It's well positioned for exploring Tuscany and Umbria by car. I can't say enough about Patrizia and Linda, who really cared about making our stay wonderful and putting themselves at our disposal for whatever we needed.

Wonderful stay at "La Casetta"

We spend a wonderful week in Tuscany with our 2, 9 year old, twins. The villa was perfect for our family. It was charming, with all the modern commodities. We were welcomed by homemade treats, delicious....The swimming pool was a blast for the kids. The location is spectacular, and very convenient for day trips to Southern Tuscany. The proximity of the railway station also easy trips to Rome or Florence.
