'Casa Maurice' is a beautifully appointed modern villa and has every facility you will need to enjoy a perfect stay in one of the Algarve's most attractive areas. With direct access to Meia Praia, an unspoilt beach with good restaurant facilities available day and night, and also the fabulous 'Marina de Lagos'. The villa is ideally positioned, whilst offering superb accommodation with five large bedrooms, with further accommodation if required, a large modern lounge, indoor/outdoor dining and a fully equipped kitchen. There are private terraces on two levels, with a choice of BBQ and outdoor private dining facilities, large open pool terrace, manicured gardens and private heated 42ft swimming pool ( pool heating available for an additional fee March to October). There is a video entry system and secure parking, together with a new games room, air conditioning and central heating for an all-year round rental opportunity. Just 12 mins walk to the beach, marina & town with many excellent restaurants, cafes and bars offering consistency & varied choice.


Flexibility of accommodation and disabled access: The owners welcome comments from guests and aim to provide a quality accommodation experience.
The accommodation within the large bedrooms can be altered to suit individual requirements. i.e the position of twin bedded rooms, or double bedded rooms etc. A disabled access ramp can be provided, from the entrance gate, with accommodation available on the ground floor for disabled persons, with direct access to the garden areas & swimming pool, kitchen, bbq terrace, lounge & private bedroom.

'Got back today from the villa. We had a fantastic holiday which was mainly because Casa Maurice is absolutely stunning. It far exceeded our expectations. The weather really went well for us and having the pool meant that during the day we didn't often venture too far from the terrace. We did have a look at the beautiful beaches in the area but as expected the sea was way too cold for us brits so back to our villa we happily went' - Many thanks again.

A new Games room has been installed in the completely refurbished lower ground floor. Complete with a twin bedroom adjacent with ensuite shower, this excellent centrally heated facility comprises of a full size pool table (slate bed), table football, table tennis and electronic darts, the games room will be popular with adults and children of all ages!

Nice an quite location

In summary, we have had a very nice week. A mixture of sun, swimming, beach walks and good food. The grill was used frequently. We can recommend the accommodation for larger groups.

Great stay at the villa

Just come back from the week at the villa, owners are very helpful and will reply to any queries within minutes, no issues at all with the villa, close to the marina and a short taxi ride away!

Fam to Lagos!

We had the entire family, 11 people total, and the house was plenty large enough. Beautiful home! Host was responsive and helpful! Lagos is a wonderful and beautiful town! Nearby beaches and overlooks are fabulous!

Great location, perfect for large groups!

The villa was perfect for two families, enough privacy for everyone. It's the perfect location as well, walking distance from the beach (20 minute walk), short drive to Lagos central. The basement pool table room and BBQ area were perfect for large group entertaining. The house itself was exactly how it was described and the property manager was extremely responsive.

Super stay in Lagos

Brilliant setting for a family holiday in Lagos catering for everything we needed to provide for 2 babies and a 4 year old in addition to a large family. Really well thought out and arranged from check-in through to amenities. Would highly recommend for large groups or families of different ages! Pool, patio and lounge areas made the trip really sociable. The 2 barbeques were amazing for cooking up a feast in the evenings we decided to stay at the villa. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great villa, our grandkids loved the heated pool (so did we!) nice walk to the beach. Cars were safe on gated drive. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, but needs new dishwasher. Check-in simple. Quiet street. Overall first class.

Excellent all around, hosts could not have been better, management the same, nothing was too much trouble.. No aircon in whole of ground level and basement including bedrooms, be aware but not too bad. The upper floor bedrooms all aircon. Kitchen utilities all top notch. Outside space was great (there was 9 of us). The pool very good indeed.We took a 1/2 day cruise with the Villa’s boat - FANTASTIC. The walk to town was OK, 15 mins or so, Uber back (5) the hill was challenging!

Great location

Perfect spot for our group of 7 adults and 2 kids. Short walk to Meia Praia or to Marina. A new snack bar has recently opened in the neighborhood which was perfect for morning coffee, afternoon beers, lunch or dinner. Large pool and surrounding outside space made for relaxing time at the house. Quiet neighborhood but close to everything Lagos has to offer

Family Holiday June19

Ages 1.5 to 57....family holiday in Casa Maurice. Lovely large pool...games room a real bonus as the evenings were still very chilly. Easy walk to beach...plenty of sunbeds and room for 11 of us. The villa over all is very spacious but would say the beds/mattresses/bedding need updating.

I am quite disappointed to read the guests comment regarding the beds and bedding as nothing had been mentioned when I called to ask if everything had been enjoyable on the day before their departing the Villa. We understand bedding is a personal view and we consequently make sure that we review bedding regularly. We will talk to current guests and to form an additional view, as guests comfort is our priority.

Family time

Cassa Maurice offered a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the proximity to all attractions. Jolie was attentive to our requests. Some of the appliances are dated and the basement bedroom lacks privacy. Some amenities could be more generous. All in all we would recommend the place for a family vacation

We aim to please and were more than happy to accommodate your additional requests for tablecloths and extra towels which were both delivered free of charge to you within hours of the request. I am sorry that you found the lower ground bedroom to be lacking in privacy. The door to the games room ( adjacent to the bedroom) is lockable and many of our guests enjoy this 'additional' bedroom space as it provides a wonderful setting especially for teenagers or couples wishing to occupy their own floor (with en -suite bathroom) adjacent to the games room. Regarding our appliances. Please be reassured that we test and replace electrical items at the start of each season to ensure high standards of safety and comfort for our guests. We hope to welcome you back to Casa Maurice again someday on your next European adventure! With our very best wishes.

Superb Villa

Wonderful stay at this superb villa . Hard time getting Girls & Boys out of pool. Only came out for food and water. Plenty of space and great games room downstairs with terrific variety of games to play, just in case the weather turns bad. Not too far from Marina , just 20mins walk. Will defo book again sometime soon.

Fantastic Villa & Holiday

We have just returned from Casa Sara (Olivia- Rose) We were lucky with the weather, the pool was a great temperature, and the grandchildren loved it. The villa was a good size for our large party (11) & there was plenty of room for the children to play. The games room was a big hit although a bit musty. You can easily walk from the villa to the beach, where there are many excellent bars and restaurants. The local small store is well stocked with essentials. I would certainly book from Jolie & Christopher again. Jolie made the booking process very easy & answered emails promptly.

I used the villa to bring a party of friends for my 60th birthday, having been to Lagos before. From the day we booked the villa, Chris sent us a comprehensive brochure full of info. When we arrived we were more than satisfied with the villa and it,s facilities, the pool was cleaned 3 times during our stay, and the gardens and lawns were kept immaculate, every member of the party said this was the best villa they had stopped in. The electric barbecue equipment was excellant, and we enjoyed the games room facilities, we would not hesitate to recommend the villa

A truly 5 star experience

Myself and my family of five needed a good holiday and wanted to visit Lagos, which is wonderful place for a family visit. We chose Casa Maurice as it seemed to tick all the boxes for us, and I am thrilled that we did. The villa is superb and has everything that you will need for a lovely family holiday. It is also in an ideal location being close to everything. We walked everywhere and we feel fitter for it! Chris the owner had service to a tee and looked after us in the planning and ensured everything was perfect for our arrival. He also arranged our return transfers which worked very well and was stress free. Dinis the local manager met us on our arrival and showed us around and answered any questions we had, which were few as we had lots of info from Chris. The pool is amazing and the kids loved it and the games room which is a great facility was brilliant to use. We will be back! Thanks Chris - regards the Cormacks

The owner Chris was exceptional from initial booking to resolving questions during our stay. The villa is perfect for a large group..or families. Walking distance to Marina...albeit a decent hill back up but would suggest a cab for return journey. We enjoyed an early eve stroll to the beach for cocktails before coming back to villa where we made good use of the basement games room as was still chilly in evenings. Families can be competetive! Great fun had by our children in their late 20s. The pool is lovely and big with ample sunbeds. Well kept gardens too. Chris recommened restaurant Mar...and I would too for food and view. We went to Monte De Casteleja organic wine tasting afternoon which was superb value for money. 10 mins from villa in a taxi. Lagos has unspoilt beauty in its beaches..a good Marina...and offers everything for a holiday in the sun. Chris is easy to communicate with and offers a faultless service. Enjoy Casa Maurice and surrounding areas...we did!

Fantastic stay at Casa Sarah

Our stay was amazing and Christopher is the perfect host. It was just a 10 min walk to the beach and 20 min walk to the harbor. The pool was heated at our arrival and everything else was very well prepared. We’d love to come again!

Stor härlig villa med rejäl pool

Vi var en storfamilj på elva personer, den äldsta 77 och den yngsta 9, som vistades en vecka i detta vackra och rymliga hus. Gott om plats för alla både i sovrummen och gemensamma utrymmen. Stort välutrustat kök. Poolen var stor, ren och med lagom varmt vatten. Terrassen rejäl med sköna möbler och med en av oss flitigt utnyttjad grill. Spelrummet mycket uppskattat och använt främst av de yngre. Badstranden vacker och mycket ren. Lagos stad och marinan var en trevlig bekantskap med många trevliga restauranger och affärer.

Excellent villa

Chris was excellent throughout the booking process and during our stay. The villa is an excellent location 15 minute walk to beach. 15 minute walk to marina and another 5 minutes into the town. The villa has a large pool with an excellent games room and 5 large bedrooms. There were 9 adults in our group and at no point did the villa feel small and crowded. Lagos is a lovely town with excellent restaurants and bars, plenty of taxis and large supermarkets.

Best Holiday Ever

On arrival Villa was ready, clean and gardens were well looked after. Pool was very clean (been to villas before where pools were quite dirty) Dinnis was there to meet us, and explained everthing We had to call him during the week for a bedroom light that needed a new bulb. He was there within the hour. Very safe place to stay with children and the pool alarm is a bonus. Plenty of space, so that you do not feel like you are all living in one room. Taxi were easy to book to go into Marina or Old Town. Plenty of places to eat and plenty of shopping. We booked a boat trip through Chris, and it was amazing. Chris made sure that everthing was made perfect and it was very nice to meet him. Only down side was that we should have booked for longer as no one was ready to come home. Would definitely recommend this villa and will go back in the future.

I had purchased Casa Olivia Rose the adjacent property several years before and found it to be perfect for large family rental. I was excited to buy Casa Maurice which was identical in design and build. We really do love both of these properties.
