Log Cabin Lodge at Tall Timbers Retreat is a single-level cabin nestled among the pine trees, fully furnished with modern updates and comforts, including satellite TV. The home features great front and back porches, 3 bedrooms with queen beds (one with a private half bath), 1 bedroom with two bunk beds (four single beds), plus a dining room that doubles as a 5th sleeping space with a single bed.

Tall Timbers caters to families who enjoy an active lifestyle and also like to unwind. Outside your door, 30 wooded acres invite you to explore. Gather your family and have a day of fun playing sand volleyball, corn-hole, or utilize our on-site baseball/soccer field. Grab a book and take advantage of our outdoor swings and rocking chairs. Imagine the peaceful and tranquil sounds of nature as you let your troubles fade away with the afternoon breeze. As evening approaches, gather around the bonfire and gaze at the stars while making s`mores.

We are pet-friendly! Pets and animals may be accommodated with applicable pet fees. Barn and pasture use for larger animals, including horses, requires advance inquiry and is subject to availability.

Guests enjoy full access to the grounds and their private cabin, with support always available by phone.

Located just 5 miles outside of Nacogdoches, the property offers peaceful country living with the convenience of being close to everything the town has to offer.

Everything was great, our cabin was clean and neat. Cozy environment, nice view, ideal for kids lots of space for them to enjoy. We didn’t get to do much because of the weather but our host was nice and took the time to ask if we needed anything.

The log cabin was perfect for our family! It was clean, quiet, and exactly that the pics and description. It was cozy but with enough room to spread out! We would definitely stay here again. The hosts were kind, helpful, and responded to questions very quickly.

Peaceful family time

We enjoyed our stay. The cornhole, trail, porches with rocking chairs were all enjoyable. It was a peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle.

Family Reunion

Our family hosts a family reunion every year in Cushing Tx. We normally block off rooms in the area and stay in hotels, however it was homecoming weekend so everything was booked in town. We decided to rent with VRBO which was a better idea, even though we were 40 min out of the area, the comfortability, cleanliness and the beautiful landscape made it worth the drive. Everything happens for a reason we enjoyed this over the hotels. 5 star review per our family.

Great Retreat Experience

The retreat I went on for my school organization was beyond amazing and that was thanks in large part to the facilities here. Everything was very nice and neat and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and I would definitely come back again. Recommended for anyone and everyone no matter the occasion.

Excellent Stay!

I recently stayed here for a retreat. The space was large enough to accommodate our large group size comfortably. The dining hall was also very nice spacious. The campfire was fun and the cabins were very nicely kept. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!
