The cottage was lovely. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and all we needed for a couple of nights in Norfolk with our dog, with the beach only 5 mins walk away.
Great location only a few mins walk from the beach. Comfy beds, hot tub brilliant after long walks, reasonably well equiped kitchen, warm and nicely decorated.
Great location, perfect for all the family (2 teenagers and the dog) 5 minutes to a lovely dog friendly beach, all amenities you could need and the bonus of a lovely hot tub, highly recommended:-)
Very comfy cottage with everything you might need for you stay provided. Great location, short walk to miles of beach and lots of facilities close by. Lovely hot tub makes this a very special place to stay.
Beautiful location beautiful cottage everything was near by including the nice sandy beach. We had dinna at the pub (poachers pocket) which is only down the road. Beautiful place will definitely be back
We really enjoyed our stay in Bacton. Perfect location to access the Norfolk Broads and enjoy the beaches. The hot tub definitely added a bit of luxury.
The cottage is amazing. Full equipped with everything you need. The hot tub is a bonus. 5 mins walk to the beautiful beach. Plenty to do around the area. Excellent places to eat within walking/driving distance. Would definitely recommend. Already booked for next year.
I cannot rate this peoperty highly enough. It has everything needed for a quality trip away. The accommodation was excellent and Victoria and Lawrence were superb hosts. The hot tub was lovely. We will certainly be back!
Really lovely property, had what we needed and in a great location to the beach and short walk to local play area, shop and cafe. Great little garden for the kids and dog to play with the added addition of the hot tub. We loved our stay wished we could have stayed longer!

Ah thats so lovely to read and thank you for taking the time to review your stay!
Generally it was as it said on the tin and what you'd expect from a period property tastefully modernised. Access to the beach was good and it was a good clean beach. Facilities available in the village met our needs. A couple of points, some sort of airer or drying rack outside would have been good after a visit to the beach especially with a young child. Also getting the car off the drive needed a person to watch you out. Possibly some sort of mirror opposite would be helpful.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to mount any form of mirror opposite as this is not our property. We do find reversing into the drive much more practical for viewing surroundings easily. Kind regards
Beautiful, quirky property. All contact with Victoria was excellent. The location was superb, a 5 minute walk to the beach and the pub. The hot tub was lovely and to top it off Victoria left us a card and bottle of Prosecco for oor anniversaty. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic time. Weather was good. Walks on beach with dog and walking to other villages so easy. Then back to a lovely cottage for hot tub and cosy nights in with wood burner. We will be back
We had a lovely stay at The Ferns, very cosy cottage close to the Beach. Victoria was very accommodating with out dogs and baby travel cots etc. Thank You
Fern cottage is gorgeous, cosy and welcoming. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach and a lovely dog friendly pub.
The hot tub is a real luxury and helped make for a relaxing mini break. We hope to book again
Cottage was sufficient for our needs, I would add that this would not be suitable for 4 adults and only suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids due to the single beds not being in a bedroom but on a landing at the top of the stairs. Furthermore I dont think this would be suitable for an elderly couple due to the steep winding stairs. It was however for us a lovely quaint cottage and the location was perfect as only a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach. Poachers Pockets was a very welcoming friendly pub that had everything one could need, the Kingfisher fish bar was just delicious, however I would not recommend the chinese.
