Rostowan sleeps up to 4 people and is situated in a very private location, close to St.Mawes on the South Coast of Cornwall, in the area where ITV filmed a large part of the Caroline Quinten 'Cornwall' series, especially The Hidden Hut...
Rostowan is located on the stunning Roseland Peninsula on Cornwall's south coast, which enjoys spectacular sea and rivers walks and views, woodlands and fields, winding lanes, ancient buildings and churches, much of it under the careful ownership of the National Trust. At the very narrowest point of the peninsula, where Porth Creek and the sea almost cut it in half, Rostowan Villa nestles in a peaceful location with the creek just a stones throw away on one side, and the sea within ear shot on the other. Towan beach itself is just a short walk down the lane and even in the height of summer is usually very quiet.
We do welcome Dogs however make a charge of £25.00 per dog per week, so if you have more than one pet please do ask us first and we will add the correct fee.

This cottage is a most wonderful place to stay on the Roseland Peninsula.
Rostowan is beautifully fitted out with all your normal creature comforts, nice sofas, chairs, beds and a very well fitted bathroom with an additional wc.
We had a television, a DVD player and CD/Radio player. The kitchen was very smart and modern with excellent cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, a full size cooker/Hob, fridge,
and microwave. There is also a separate freezer and washing machine.
Outside is a totally enclosed and private garden. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the twin chairs at the top of the garden as they had a clever little table top between them that is just right for your drinks.
I will definitely try to visit Rostowan again in the future and I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who is making a visit to the Roseland Peninsula.

Great accommodation. Well equipped & comfortable in a quiet & peaceful location close to the beach.
Lovely property. Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle. Ideal for long lovely walks exploring the Roseland peninsula. Local beach (Towan) is peaceful and unspoilt and virtually on the doorstep as well as also being dog friendly. Cottage is ideal for dog owners or those without four legged friends. Excellent large decking area for al fresco dining plus large private garden. Cottage itself is a good size with great facilities to sleep up to 5 (but very suitable for couples if you just like plenty of space). Long narrow approach to the property is the only small rub but not a showstopper and far outweighed by all the positive aspects of this lovely property. Local shop at Portscatho has all you need but supermarkets are quite a distance away. Lots of excellent local eating venues (especially the Hidden Hut if the sun is shining!). Will certainly stay here in the future as well as visiting the other excellent Mineshop holiday cottages at Crackington Haven.

Why they chose this property
We use this property for our own Family Holiday, it is in an incredible location which is within in easy walking distance to the Beach and on the other side it is even closed to the tidal creek which offers amazing Crabbing at high tide. The local Pub is about a 30 minute very peaceful walk away. Park the car and leave it, enjoy your holiday at Rostowan, we are sure you will.
