São Martinho do Porto belongs to the council of Alcobaça district of Leiria, Costa de Prata. It is without a doubt the most famous seaside resort in the county. It has a beautiful bay with unique shell-shaped features, due to the low swell it makes bathing safe for children. Also widely used for various water sports: (sailing, windsurfing, surfing, bodyboarding, kitesurfing).
Exceptional fish, seafood, wine and fruit region. The gastronomy of the region is excellent, and presented by several restaurants, which are located along the bay. It also has several places of entertainment, as well as numerous cafes, bars, etc.
A few kilometers away, lovers of golf, horseback riding, etc. they will have access to several fields with international prestige.
