Great host, good proximity to Cinque Terre.

The host was very attentive and responsive. One of the AC units did not work when we arrived and she promptly send someone to check and replace it. We really appreciated the effort. The apartment is on a sketchy-looking street, but the neighborhood seemed safe. The unit is very small, but it has 2 bedrooms and 2 tiny bathrooms.Despite the 2 AC’s in the bedrooms it was 31 degrees Celsius at night in the unit! The description on VRBO listed a pool as an amenity- there is no pool. The pool is located somewhere in the city, and is NOT a part of this rental. Not crucial, but misleading if one is counting on a quick dip in the evening.

Great place to stay for Cinque Terre

Used this as our hub for a few days when visiting the Cibqie Terre. Overall it met our needs and was quiet at night for sleeping. The showers are very small and we had some issues but I believe these were being fixed after we mentioned to management

Steps & Living Room?

Upon arrival we were shown property & disappointed to find there were stairs & no living room, attitude of host on phone was aggressive .We specifically stayed here due to lift as one of our party had just had surgery. Bathroom design was awkward. Location was great. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Very close to the ferries to get to the beautiful cinque terres Great to have a coffee machine!

Perfect location

The apartment had everything we needed in a great location. It was about a 20 minute walk to the train. Plenty of good eating in the area. The harbor area was quite enjoyable as well. Owners were helpful and kind. Bathrooms were a tight fit but that was part of the European experience!

Emplacement idéal. Bon contact avec le propriétaire. Seul point négatif l'eau des douches ne s'evacuent pas bien et débordent sur le plancher.

Gianni est génial :)

Le père de Gianni nous a accueilli et nous même réservé une place de parking pour nous faciliter notre arrivée. Gianni parle parfaitement français et il était très disponible tout au long du séjour. L'appartement est très bien situé près du port et du centre ville, le livret d'accueil est bien fait et les conseils y sont très utiles comme l'adresse de l'épicerie italienne. Le seul regret est qu'il n'y a pas de salon pour se détendre mais l'ensemble est décoré avec beaucoup de goût.

Perfect stay!

We were a party of four adults visiting Cinque Terre. The apartment is perfect with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is well provisioned, very clean and comfortable. The location is also perfect with an easy walk to the ferries, shops and train station!

Stay away from this advertiser/Pessima esperienza

Difficult to find even with gps and owner's indications. No parking available, had to pay for a garage. The owner didn't show up and had to find the place by myself, the person was at the phone! The elevator stops in the middle of the first floor and you have to use the stairs to reach the second floor (bad solution for family with children and old people). The apt is really basic. No balconies,dirty drying rack and noisy street. When you use the shower the bathroom floods. Too expensive for what it offers, I would choose another one if I could. And last but not the least the owner didn't give me back the deposit,sending to HomeAway photo and receipt of a damage I didn't cause. He never answered to my calls,WhatsApp and email! I have no possibility to see what he said I damaged. Would you trust in a person who doesn't answer to your request of receiving copy of what he sent to HomeAway? Please find another location, this is a mouse trap. Casa difficile da trovare anche col gps e le indicazioni, zona senza parcheggi salvo che paghiate,check in fai da te visto che l'inserzionista non si e' presentato e ha mandato una persona che abbiamo dovuto trovare noi. Ascensore che arriva a metà.. poi una rampa di scale con i bagagli (non adatto per famiglie con bambini e persone avanti con l'età). Appartamento molto basico,senza balconi,rumoroso, Il bagno si allaga quando si fa la doccia! Pessima esperienza con l'inserzionista che a fronte della caduta del paralume di stoffa dal soffitto (che basta fissare con un semplice clic) si trattiene quasi tutto il deposito inviando ad HomeAway foto e ricevuta fiscale per acquisto nuovo paralume e armadio che asserisce ho danneggiato. HomeAway per la privacy non mi manda nulla. Ed ecco come si comporta l'inserzionista: non risponde alle mie telefonate,WhatsApp e email! Chi non fornisce le prove ha qualcosa da nascondere a chi gli ha lasciato i soldi? Domandatevi: mi posso fidare di un inserzionista così? E se mi succedesse la stessa cosa? Aggiungendo il mio scarso giudizio sull'alloggio,vi consiglio di cercarvi un altro posto. La Spezia offre molto di meglio.

Convenient, clean and a perfect location!

This is the perfect little apartment. It’s quiet and very clean. The location was perfect. Gianni was always available and nice as can be. They have a very helpful folder in the kitchen with local attractions listed as well and some maps to help you familiarize yourself with the area! This apartment is on the 4th floor I believe but there is an elevator for your convenience! Great experience! Highly recommend!

Très bel appartement idéal pour visiter les cinque terre. Bon emplacement à 5 minutes pour prendre bateau 5 terres . Proche de bon restaurant et du port. Et Barbara et gianni bien à l écoute par téléphone si tout va bien. Un lieu a recommander. L appartement est très bien et propre.

A Wonderful Home Base for Exploration

The apartment in La Spezia had everything we needed. While the kitchen was small, it was well equipped, with even dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent provided. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of space to unpack in the bedrooms if desired. The location of the apartment is wonderful. Right outside the door there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The marina is a couple of minutes walk, and the train is just under a mile. We stayed here a week and had a wonderful time exploring various areas of Italy with this as a base. Not only did we see La Spezia, but explored Cinque Terre, Pisa, Genoa, Sestri Levante and more, all easily accessible by the train nearby. The owners gave us lots of helpful information and were very helpful. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends.

Entspricht nicht der Beschreibung

Es befinden sich zwar zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder in der Wohnung, aber kein Wohnzimmer. Der Aufenthaltsort ist eine sehr kleine Wohnküche und sonst nichts. Nicht geeignet für mehr als 4 Personen und schon gar nicht für Kinder. Küchengeräte nur spärlich vorhanden, keine Spülmaschiene, kein Toaster, kein Wasserkocher und keine Mikrowelle. Ein Parkplatz wurde zwar beschrieben, war aber nicht vorhanden. Vor Ort wurde ein öffentlicher Parkplatz gezeigt, wo während des Aufenthalts einmal ein freier Platz war, den man nicht mehr verlassen durfte, da er unmittelbar wieder belegt wurde. Der nächste kostenlose Parkplatz ist 1,5 Kilometer von der Wohnung entfernt. Wir werden die Wohnung nicht mehr buchen.

Ideal location

Very clean and well equipped apartment, not a huge amount of space but totally adequate, 2 bathrooms was great. Ideal location as walking distance to train station and harbour and marina. Perfect base for exploring Cinque Terre.

Convenient and comfy

Arrived in La Spezia train station. We had planned on taking a taxi but they did not want to take a small fare. We walked the 20 minutes to apartment... The apartment is very clean and nicely equipped. We did not spend much time in the apartment as there is no living room. We walked down to the pier, beautiful! This apartment is within close walking distance of everything. The owner was very easy to get in touch with as we did have a few issues but were cared for immediately. Thank you Gianna! Side note, train does not return directly to Florence.

Great experience

The place was just as shown in the pictures: very clean and new . It was nice having an AC in every room. The area was good too as there weren't any tourists around and it was very close to Cinque Terre.
