Close to the theatres, Eastbourne Tennis, art galleries, museums, boutique shops, restaurants, pubs, seafront & town centre. The South Downs National Park is on the door step providing glorious walks with breath-taking views.
Beach, town, theatres and National Downs all nearby. Family friendly Great for children of all ages. Flat screen TV with sound bard TV in master bedroom, WiFi, DVDs, books. Pets possible on request. Car not necessary. Nearest beach and nearest shops 0.1k. Walking distance to the pier, theatres & shops & English Schools including St Giles two minutes’ walk.
Located in a well-kept Edwardian property, and offers a kingsize en suite bedroom, triple room with double bed and single bed, double bedroom and a further single bedroom comfortably sleeping 8 however an extra bed can be provided if required at an extra cost pf £25 per night.

We found this property adequate for our purposes but it should be noted on the listing that their are stairs within the apartment that were a trip hazard. Also the amenities list says there is a washer and a dryer. No dryer! When I contacted the host about the missing dryer she suggested we hang all our wet laundry near the radiators. Not a great solution for 4 adults with wet clothes to dry. We were counting on washing clothes mid trip so we could pack lighter. The host had a timer on the heat and the radiators were not operating all night so clothes were still wet in the morning.
Great space for a family, but as a converted house, the sound proofing is not great.

The flat above and below us, we did not get a great nights sleep. Kitchen has everything you need for basic cooking. Although we did have to wash up a couple of plates as dirty in the cupboard when we got them out to use.
The lights on the stairs are not good, as when you are exiting the property you cannot turn the light on the stairs to descend the stairs until you reach the bottom, you can only turn on the landing light, but when you are coming in it’s fine, as switch is on the ground floor.
Obviously a problem with the roof as damage to three of the bedroom ceilings, although the owner did message us to inform us that the previous people that had stayed had a problem with a leak, but this must be an on going problem
As the damage had obviously been there some time.
The flat below has the use of the garden and patio , you hear the door closing and the light shines through the curtains in two of the bedrooms and when the people are using this space late at night this does cause annoyance.
A good property to stay at but unfortunately one of our party was bitten by bed bugs whilst staying at the property (the double room opposite the property entrance) so that does need to be addressed.
internally the property was excellent, clean, warm and welcoming. Communication was very poor, only one set of keys not two, an e-mail and a telephone call were not answered. Also beware your 'breakages' deposit is not returned for at least two AFTER your holiday, despite no damage done. This is not acceptable business practice

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review which I can address for future guests
The information folder has been changed to inform guests that one set of keys are provided, we do already recommend in the folder that guests leave the keys in the key safe when out and about, mainly so they do not get lost but other members of your party always can gain access
The welcome email sent to guests asks guests to tex if there are any problems as calls will be diverted to voice mail during out of office hours. A tex will always be answered immediately and ensures guests are not left with a problem
The damage deposit is solely dealt with by Homeaway and is refunded 7 days after check out but can take 10 business days to reach guests account.
Very beautiful flat close to the sea and near to pubs and city center 😀 🍻
Perfect for 8 persons to enjoy English cost. Very nice owner also that answer every questions if you need.

We had a lovely stay in Eastbourne helped by the fact we had a nice property to stay in.
This was out second time staying at the property and once again we were happy with the facilities. It is spacious, clean and has a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were excellent and the lounge was nicely decorated.

Very nice apartment, comfortable and spacious. Wine and hot drink supplies very thoughtful.
The property was suitable for our purposes and provided everything that we required. Eastbourne has a lot to offer with plenty of things to do for adults and children. We will definitely return.

The property was perfectly located for the beach and tennis courts.
It was fairly clean and comfortable, although it would benefit from some new mugs!
