Welcome to Casa da Sina! Our stunning 3BR villa is located in a beautifully untouched scenery overlooking Tavira and its golden sandy beaches. We´ve designed our villa taking into consideration all the elements that surround us in order to take the most advantage of them. As such, we've created an awe-inspiring outdoor space with our unique organic gardens, a really cool swimming pool, a bespoke entertaining igloo and a chill out lounge area where sunset will blow your mind away. You´ll love it!

Conveniently located at just 10min car ride from the center of Tavira Casa da Sina is the reflection of its owners' creativity and personality. Featuring:

Even though this design house offers all the modern comforts it still has some typical features from the Algarve such as the colorful bedrooms and the different tile patterns in the bathrooms.
In our master suite we've combined two single beds to create a larger double bed and there's also a built-in wardrobe with plenty of space for longer stays. This bedroom has a direct access to the outdoor space leading you straight into the patio and swimming pool area.

The bathroom in the suite was designed using handmade tiles created by the Portuguese company “Widow Lamego” dating back to 1849 and worldwide known for its contribution to several Pritzker awards. In spite of having a handheld shower for added practicality, our main bathroom also has a bathtub perfect for those relaxing moments.

The second bedroom is comprised of a queen size bed and again offers direct access to the outside area.
The third and final bedroom has 2 bunk beds allowing for up to 4 people to sleep in. It also has two large wardrobes for you to store all your belongings.
The modern guest bathroom offers a sizable shower with a colorful tile artwork wall and it is easily reached from any corner of the house.

The connection between the living and social area of the house and the bedrooms and bathrooms is made through a beautiful, bright, floor to ceiling glass hallway along with some unique artwork displays.

Past the hallway you'll find yourself in our main social area of the villa comprised of a spacious living room and a dining area where 8 people can comfortably enjoy a delicious home cooked meal in our Bulthaup stainless steel kitchen.

You'll also find that we have a karaoke and an amazing surround system for some fun times. Feel free to pump up the volume!

Let the good times roll with an amazing outdoors space: from our inviting swimming pool to our lovely organic gardens with broad beans (the crops will vary throughout the year) and peas, a lounge with sunbeds where you'll be able to experience breathtaking sunsets and a clear crystal sky with shooting star displays. For the guys (we know… we support feminism so the girls are also invited), our entertaining igloo has a pool table waiting for you to play throughout the night.

If you and your family are fans of hiking or bird watching you have come to the right place as Tavira is increasingly becoming well known for its beautiful trails. During any hiking or simply walking around the villa you'll be able to see our vast biodiversity ranging from almond trees, olive trees, our tea herbs, pines and animals such as woodpeckers, cows, sheep and horses.

Given the orientation of the villa and the steepness of the terrain, we felt that creating a green but still walkable rooftop would be the icing on the cake. From all the different places of Casa da Sina, this is where you'll be able to witness the most striking sunset.
However, please ensure that no kids are on the rooftop by themselves as it can be dangerous.

We want you to enjoy all the wonders of Casa da Sina but safety comes first!

Guests will have full access to the villa and outdoor spaces.
We have an open rooftop. We welcome you to use it but we strongly advise our guests not to leave unattended children there for safety reasons. Also, try to avoid going there under the influence of alcohol.

Both myself and Tété live very busy lives in Lisbon. Therefore, Bernardo and Francisco will be handling all communications with our guests pre & post stay. At the same time, our esteemed friend Julia will be welcoming you on site, show you the place around and will be your local contact throughout your stay at Casa da Sina.

The villa is located on the outskirts of Tavira in the village of Synagogue and it´s a 3min drive to the village of Santo Estevão. The coastal town of Tavira and the nearest beaches are 10 minutes away. There are golf courses 15 minutes away and Spain can be reached within 30 minutes. The International Airport and the city of Faro are approximately 35 minutes away.

Tavira is one of the nicest and laid back places to visit in Algarve. It's very easy to lose track of time in Tavira as this lovely old town's history has still been in time. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets with its many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy a drink in the sun. This is a very nice destination all year round. During the summer months there´s a boat ferry from the center of town going to Tavira Island and Quatro Águas.

Sta. Catarina, the charming little village is only a 5min drive away. Here they organize once a month a gypsy market that is well worth a visit. There are several superb golf courses and many blue flag beaches with excellent water sport facilities to choose from within a 15/20 minute drive.
