Stono River House, Relax and Enjoy

This 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home is located on the intra-coastal waterway, in a quiet gated community, 20 minutes from Historic downtown Charleston. This house, surrounded by live oaks, offers a relaxing Southern atmosphere. The wrap-around porch offers a variety of natural views. This 3 story home has elevator access to each floor. The top floor has 3 bedrooms with queen beds and an open bonus room with a double bed. The main floor boasts a large family room, a kitchen, and a dining room overlooking the Stono river. Just off the family room is the master suite with a king bed and a private bath with an antique claw foot tub and separate walk in shower. There is also a double bed located off the kitchen with a connecting half bath. This river home sleeps 10 to 12 people comfortably and is ideal for connecting with nature and relaxing. There is an elevator for luggage and ease of getting into the house. However the contractor chose to make the interior doors too small for wheelchairs.

This home is amazing, very good location , and very well priced considering the location and size of the home. Its located in a gated community, but its also on a corner lot which makes it seem like your kinda off in the woods to yourself. This home has everything imaginable from kitchen utensils to kayaks. The outside has a private dock and we had pretty good luck with some bull redfish. I hope to be fortunate enough to stay again in the future in this wonderful home . Thank you for sharing this little piece of paradise with us.

We had a great time at this property. It was so nice and quiet, we even saw dolphins down in the river of the dock at high tide. It was nice and close to Charleston and the surronding beaches.

The house was perfect for a large group. Plenty of room to stretch out. Everything we needed was there. Beautiful location. Loved sitting on the dock on the river watching the wildlife and taking in the sun. Family enjoyed sitting on the porch day and night just enjoying the scenery and listening to the sounds.
