Natz Ti Ha means 'near the water' in Mayan, and that describes these
condominiums perfectly. The community is adjacent to the five star
Shangri La Hotel/Mahekal Hotel, and is located on the world famous Cocoa Beach
where the well known Corona Beer Commercials are filmed. This is one of only a handful of newer, and smaller (under 40 units) luxury condo complexes actually located on the beach in Playa Del Carmen. Our two bedroom condo, is a beautifully decorated ground floor unit with a large patio adjacent to the gorgeous pool and garden area. From our comfortable and private patio, complete with an elaborate and soothing waterfall feature, you will have direct access to the pool. With two bedrooms, extra air mattress and a large comfy couch in the living area, this unit sleeps four to six very comfortably. This is a very quiet complex, so you'll experience a much more relaxing vacation here than if you rent in the 100 unit+ complexes in Playacar. Also, it is located on the northern end of Playa Del Carmen, bordering jungle to the north so auto traffic is non existent. There is secure parking available if you rent a car and most Playa attractions, including 5th Ave. with it's many exciting shops and wonderful restaurants, are just a short 5-10 minute walk. We recently added dedicated high speed wi-fi internet access in the condo.

Location, location, location.

I don't like resort hotels. I prefer to self cater breakfast and lunch, and eat dinner out. This condo is practically on the beach, has immediate access to a great pool and is one block from dozens of excellent restaurants. It doesn't get any better.

Location perfect

Property is severely dated. There is furniture literally falling apart. Hot water is hard to come by as in run water for 5 minutes and it might get hot! Location is perfect.With some paint and updating this properly would be amazing. Dealing with Scott was flawless. All questions were answered promptly.

Great condo. What I would suggest 1. The bathroom in the listing is not the condo bathroom 2. The code to enter & exit the property was not offered, thankfully a neighbor gave it to us (3840) saving us time & trouble 3. While we stayed, we experienced a Cyclone & lost power. There 4 nearly empty candles & no matches or a lighter to use. 4. Never could find pillowcases for pillows 5. Tv was difficult to navigate & no instructions how to operate 6. Upon arrival there was half a roll of toilet paper & no extras available Bed in spare bedroom is not comfortable at ALL. Perfect location Pool was great (when not experiencing a Cyclone) Gracias

loud music till 430 am not for me

property is just as described -was given wrong code for lockbox so that created frustration as I speak very little Spanish and Miguel and Wilbur speak limited English -. 45 min later it was all figured out.(it was sunday nite) our stay was ok as there is now a beach bar right next door and they blast loud thumping music till 430am (yes you can feel it and hear it thru the concrete bldg and windows)!!! Sunday and Monday nites as well as the next weekend was loud loud music. we chose this complex as we were expecting quiet as when we had stayed in this complex before(2015) . it seems there were a lot of other unhappy guests as well. condo and complex is great Miguel and Wilbur very helpful but because of beach bar loud music will not be staying here again unfortunately randy

Great condo! Perfect location!! Literally just a 1 minute walk to the most beautiful beach!!! The condo is very large plenty of room for my family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. The kitchen had everything we needed. The patio was huge and perfect for eating. Easy access to the pool which was great! The security guys were very helpful and friendly. Scott, the owner, was very helpful and always answered my questions immediately. Short, easy walk to 5th Avenue where all the restaraunts and shops are. It was also easy to get a taxi if needed. Anyone that comes to visit this area should go to Chichen Itza and Xel-Ha! These places are amazing!! We did some great deep sea fishing and we used Captain Ricks. They were awesome and we did catch some beautiful fish, Mahi Mahi and barracuda!! The only thing that was a negative for us was the bed situation. I know that bed comfort is a very personal thing so what we may find to be uncomfortable someone else may really love. Be prepared for incredibly hard beds. The bed in the master bedroom literally felt like sleeping on a table. It was very uncomfortable. Even my kids ended up sleeping on the couch and chair in the living room because the bed was so uncomfortable in the room they were in. That is really our only complaint.

I have come to this area several times and this is has been the best place so far. Located at the heart of Playa del Carmen, walking distance to Fifth Avenue where you can find excellent restaurants, shopping, and entertainment . The pool is steps away and the beach it’s just around the corner. Facilities are clean and well kept. It was a pleasure doing business with Property Manager Scott. Answered all my questions right away. Will absolutely come back. LOVED IT!!

Nice place, great location, owner is awsome

Overall a great deal for the price. Nicely decorated, reasonably spacious. A few downsides: maid service is ridiculously expensive for Mexico at $40/day. While everyone says that the local lavandarias can turn your laundry around in a few hours, we were there over New Years and everyone was backed up for two or three days. (A big deal when you need towels). Also, the master doesn't have a 4th wall (only curtains), so some noise and privacy issues. But the location is great--2 blocks from 5th street restaurants and ships and a few hundred yards from the beach. The owner is a great guy; very responsive.

Beautiful, secure facility with healthy plants, great pool area and friendly staff

This condo was perfect for our trip. The property is perfectly close to beach access, restaurants, shopping and leaping off point for adventures. It is on the less busy end of the touristy shopping strip and pleasantly quiet. Plenty of towels were provided for pool and beach use. The private patio area was a lovely place to converse. The plants and fountain gave the patio a very private feel and muffled noise from the pool area. The air conditioning was appreciated. The king size bed was comfy. My sister reported the other bed was squeaky. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and adequately equipped. The perimeter gates to the facility get locked at night, but the main gate is manned and accessible anytime. The owner, Scott, was great to work with. My initial request was not responded to, so I sent an e-mail along with my second attempt to secure this reservation and he replied promptly. He also provided helpful information and insight about the area.

EXCELLENT LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We (4 adults) stayed here 1-7-17 through 1-14-17)...This condo was clean but needs some minor repairs. The air conditioner leaks and the condensation is caught in a kettle. There is also a large, single tile missing on the bedroom floor. The kitchen had enough utensils for us to make our meals, but we did have to buy a few spices. If you don't want to cook, there are multiple restaurants (inexpensive) on your walk to, and along 5th Ave. A two-minute walk, you are on 5th Ave.....A one-minute walk, you are at the beach... The unit does have 4 beach chairs and an umbrella....The grounds are impeccable and the pool was refreshing.. We recommend the Mayan Adventure cenote tour....a fantastic experience for the snorkeling enthusiasts...Make it a point to visit Tulum and Chichen Itza...

Fantastic loction great condo complex

This was our 1st trip to Mexico. Condo is located only 1/2 block from the beach , 3 minute walk. Close to 5th Ave and many restaurants. The condo is great with all the amenities of home. Comfortable beds Beautiful gardens, fantastic pool for a cool down after a day at the beach. Workers and staff at the complex are very helpful. Scott was very helpful with places to visit and how to get transportation from the airport. Highly recommended this condo

Fantastic location

The condo is located in a great building in the best part of Playa del Carmen. It's close to the action but far enough away to feel very private and quiet. The beach is a stone's throw away, while the restaurants and activities of Fifth Ave are a two minute walk. The condo itself is very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Scott was very helpful in arranging things in advance and there is support on location if you need any assistance. Much recommended!

Best Location in Playa Del Carmen

We stayed in this same unit condo five years ago. We loved it back in 2010 and loved it even more this time! Playa Del Carmen has grown a lot since we were here last and the more recent, really nice development has been directly in this area of town. When we were here last, this complex was still a little bit off the beaten path. Now, it's literally right in the center of where you want to be! Right on the beach, but only a block or two walk to EVERYTHING you would need! All the best restaurants, shops, etc. are right there! But, this area is still very quiet at night so you'll get a peaceful night's rest. The condo itself and the complex are in fantastic shape! Beautiful gardens, awesome pool, just steps from the ocean. Also, the owner of the condo is great to work with and he provided us with a lot of suggestions on excursions, restaurants, etc. that a typical tourist would never know about. He seems to know a lot of people in Playa and it was kind of fun to go into these restaurants, drop his name and be treated like a VIP! Highly recommend this condo!

Perfect family getaway

This was an ideal vacation for my family. (My wife, our two boys and ourselves). Scott the owner is awesome to deal with. He gives great insights, recommendations and is super friendly. The condo itself is in the perfect location for playa. Steps from the beach and also only a few blocks from the main drag where all the restaurants and shops are. We did not rent a car and were fine the entire time. The condo itself is quiet and very clean. The staff is very helpful, they don't speak much English such brush up on you Spanish! All in all, it was a great trip. We are planning on returning!

Perfect Vacation

We have been to Playa Del Carmen several times and this was by far the best vacation yet. This condo is ideally located on the best beach in Playa. It's also a fairly quiet location with almost no traffic and yet is very close to 5th Ave. The condos are very private and we really enjoyed the patio on our ground floor unit. There are several beach clubs close to the condos, but we also used the beach chairs and umbrellas provided by the condo owner. The condo itself was very nicely decorated, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we were told that the bed in the master and the flat screen TV were brand new. The staff onsite was very helpful, including helping us with our luggage. I highly recommend this condo if you're looking for a really nice, relaxing beach front condo.

Wonderful Vacation

This condo was great for our girls' getaway. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants, and a short walk to the beautiful beach. We loved the fact that it was so private and peaceful, yet so close to the hustle and bustle of 5th Ave. The description is very accurate and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The whole time we were there, my friends kept saying that I had chosen the perfect place. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the patio and we enjoyed every minute of it. The property is secure and well-maintained, and the condo is clean and neat. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo!

condo review

This was a wonderful condo for our vacation. The location was great for getting to the beach and also within walking distance of the shopping/restaurant district. It is removed from the busy streets so we were able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere without hearing traffic noise. The gardens aroung the condo and pool area are spectacular. Each condo is surrounded by garden areas that give privacy and the water flowing around the gardens privides enough white noise to give privacy on the outside decks. The condo was clean, well laid out and well maintained. The pictures were very accurate.

This place is awesome

This is just a beautiful condo on an amazing property right by the beach. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with on the rental and he provided a lot of great advice and tips for transportation, restaurants, sight seeing, etc. Once we arrived, the staff was extremely helpful showing us to the unit and getting us checked in (even though it was almost midnight when we arrived). The water feature on the patio is really cool and we enjoyed the great selection of music and books in the condo. Just a great vacation! I highly recommend this unit!

Natz Ti Ha Condos

We arrived at the property and were greeted by very friendly security staff. They helped up with our luggage to our room and got us into it with no wait. We loved the water features that surrounded the patio and the property. Very relaxing! The grounds were kept up meticulously, sometimes too much. Sometimes we were awakened by the sound of the broom on our patio. We found that the people in the neighborhood were extremely friendly and helpful. Never once did we feel unsafe. The property is very close to the beach, not right on the beach. The condo itself was a little small for our family of 4, 2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 pre-teen. I definitely would not recommend 6 in this particular unit. We loved the variety of activities that are within short driving distance. Shopping and groceries were plentiful as well.
