Great place and location. Very clean all you need is in the cabin. Just 10 minute from Lake George Village. Thank’s Maria we will came back as soon as we can
Loved the serene, private home with amazing view of river. Water sounds were soothing to sleep to! Location so convenient to everything. Enjoyed it very much!
Absolutely beautiful cabin and property with a wonderful view of Schroon River. Very cozy and comfortable. From the moment we walked in we felt such a peace. We loved staying here and hope to be back soon! Maria, the owner was wonderful and very communicative.
We love our time here! The cabin is spacious, warm and cozy, and overlooks the Schroon River. we enjoyed being able to see and hear the sound of the water. Maria was very responsive and helpful, and everything was smooth and easy. We are looking forward to going back!
We loved our stay. The cabin was perfect for me and my husband and our 4 legged family member! Directions for check in were easy and everything at the cabin was great. While the cabin is close to the road there is very little traffic and the noise of the beautiful river right below blocks any traffic sounds. I would highly recommend this location
The cabin was very clean & updated with everything we needed. It has a private deck overlooking the river. Maria was very accommodating & available. We spent our days on wonderful hikes in the mountains & evenings relaxing & grilling!
Great little cabin by the Schroon River! We loved listening to the river in the background. Very secluded and private. Perfect distance to Lake George and Bolton Landing with access to main roads much closer than expected. Highly recommended!
Wonderful Adirondack cottage on the Schroon River, We left the patio doors open all night and the running water put us to sleep, Close to Lake George, Bolton Landing and the high peaks area. Maria was an excellent host and replied to all our questions quickly. Cottage had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Thanks for helping us to have a wonderful vacation.
This place is a literal dream. You can see the river from almost every room and its Gorgeous. The wood stove was so lovely at night. Really quiet and the river put me to sleep every night. Maria was so kind through my entire stay. So many great hikes in the area and beautiful lakes. I’m already planning another trip!
Wonderful get away in a peaceful cabin. Very friendly and accommodating! We were a little concerned about driving in the snow, but we had no problems.

Relaxful
The cabin is homey and relaxing especially since Schroon River is literally at your back door. Cabin has all the essentials you would need to cook a meal which was a plus for my family. The location is definitely off the beaten path so not much around. We enjoyed our stay, however, I do wish the bed mattresses were a bit more comfortable.

We are glad you found our place relaxing and you enjoyed your stay.
So sorry you didn't like the mattresses.. they are just a year old and we decided that firm is the best way to go.
We wish there was a way to be have adjustable firmness.
This is a really nice property, however you do need to bring your own garbage to the landfill. This was not specified in the listing until the house rules were sent. The landfill is close by but it is not open everyday. If you stay here make sure you check out on a day that the landfill is open or you will be stuck with your garbage.

Nicely appointed and comfortable cabin in the woods
We were very happy with the cabin, the furnishings, the location, and the stunning view. Maria was lovely to deal with and left very clear instructions on access to the cabin and expectations for guests at the house. The ONLY downside, and it is a little one, was that the heat could not quite keep up with very low temps outside (14 degrees). In 5 hours we could get the main living space up to only 64 degrees. So I would recommend the cabin for times other than deepest winter. However, if we had stayed longer, I am sure Maria would have helped come up with a solution.

So sorry you couldn't get the cabin warm enough. I wish you had called or texted me to let you know that the bedrooms have a separate thermostat. Having all areas heated I believe would have helped. I also should have made sure to tell the cleaning person to turn on both thermostats before your arrival.
We never had an issue at the cabin even with low temperatures and the wood stove is ready to go if needed. I apologize It happened to you.
Best,
maria
