About this property

Direct OCEANFRONT condo on 2nd floor, balcony is just 30 feet from the seawall with the ocean on the other side! No screens on the balcony to block your view or picture taking.

PLEASE NOTE: (POOL NOT AVAILABLE until approximately Oct-Dec 2024, see below).

1) Due to hurricane damage November 2022, the SWIMMING POOL AND MOST ALL OUTSIDE AREAS ARE CLOSED until approximately Oct-Dec 2024. However, we hope to get our direct beach access (new stairs to the beach) rebuilt and available to use by the end of March 2024. If our beach access is not available, public beach access is very close at Seagull Park, just a short 2/10 mile walk south of condo on the sidewalk. Can also drive to public beach access (Seagull Park), there is public "free" parking.
Condo unit is in the closest building to the ocean in the area, just minutes south of Cocoa Beach. Beautiful sunrises while drinking your morning coffee on the open (no screens) balcony, directly on the ocean. Also, a great place to view rocket launches from the Kennedy Space Center. Miles of sandy beaches north and south of the condo to walk, exercise and play on. Shopping just minutes away. Many restaurants and activities nearby and north at Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, and south at Indialantic and Melbourne Beach. Orlando airport 50 minute drive, Disney 70 minute drive.

Beautiful place

This listing is as advertised. The condo is kept up very well. It was very clean and the building had adequate security. We never felt at risk. Security was very apparent and helpful. It was wonderful being right on the beach. Access to the beach was just a small walk down the sidewalk as the stairs to the beach at this complex has not been inspected yet from the authorities. This was not a deterrent to us. If you choose this rental I can’t imagine you’d be sorry

Wonderful time at the Beach

This condo had the perfect location right on the beach. It was very comfortable and was well stocked with anything we needed. Communication with owners was excellent. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise over the ocean. We also loved watching the dolphins swim by. Hope to come back one day.

Beach condo

Overall our stay was very good. Linda and Steven could not be better hosts. They respond to our needs very quickly. The condo itself is very nice and comfortable. It sits right on the ocean. The view was somewhat obstructed by the workers fixing the seawall. There is nothing you will need because Linda thinks of everything. We needed batteries and there they were in kitchen draw.

Ideal

Exactly what we were hoping for. Right on the water, beautiful ocean views, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. One of the best vrbo's I've stayed in. Although the building is older, this unit has been updated and well maintained. The hosts were attentive and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We bought this condo Dec 2003, to rent most of the time, except when we or our Family use it. We try to rent to only 2-4 people at a time to try to keep the condo looking good for everyone. We upgraded and opened up the view from the kitchen a few years ago. We also replaced the bedroom carpets with wood look laminate flooring. The rest of the unit has tile flooring. The unit already had hurricane windows, but a new 3-panel hurricane rated/turtle glass patio door was installed in 2023. We try to stock the condo with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Enjoy.

Why they chose this property

This building is the closest one to the ocean in the area due to it was built by the Military in the1960's, and instead of a wide beach and seagrass setback, they built a seawall across the ocean side of the whole property. So when you sit on our balcony, which is oceanfront and on the 2nd floor, you feel like you are sitting right at the edge of the ocean. Unfortunately, since the pool and beach access is currently closed until further notice, you will need to walk 2/10 mile south to the public beach access, but the views from our condo and balcony, will hopefully make up some for this inconvenience.

What makes this property unique

When they renovated our building in 2022/2023, they removed the screens from our balcony, so your view and picture taking is not blocked by screens. You are approximately 30 feet on the 2nd floor from the seawall and ocean. This unit is probably one of two units closest to the ocean on the east coast of Florida.
