Colorado Springs Mesa Retreat

This beautiful home is a comfortable and relaxing retreat, and a perfect home base to begin your Colorado adventure. The entire house has high-end finishes throughout. High-end appliances with a 5 piece gas burner stove. Also included, is a wine cooler and Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen has custom cabinets, soft close drawers, and beautiful granite countertops. This house was meant for dinner parties and entertainment with friends and family.

Moving on to the bedrooms, There is a large master suite downstairs, with an on- suite bathroom. This bedroom includes 2 queens. There is a 2nd bedroom with a queen and a single bed. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs living room. The upstairs living room has a high-efficiency wood burning fire place, which is perfect anytime of year. A Bose stereo fills the room with great sound as well. The downstairs living room features a 65 inch HD TV with HD channel subscription and high-speed internet. The downstairs living room also has a piano, pool table, and exercise equipment.

And finally, the outdoors. The view outside the house is amazing year round. The outdoor entertainment area is large, and is fully furnished. There is a gas grill and plenty of seating for parties of all sizes. The porch is covered and makes for a great place to relax, and is never too hot in the summer, and surprising warm the rest of the year. The home is situated in a great, centrally located, and desireable part of Colorado Springs. 5 Minutes to downtown and to the Garden of the gods. Kissing Camels Country Club is right down the street. Great biking trails, that can take you almost anywhere in town within a few minutes. The interstate is 5 minutes away. This property has a secluded 1 acre lot with a large open valley as a backyard. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views abound. The views of the Front Range and Pikes Peak are among the best in town, with great convenience to everything that makes Colorado so beautiful.

Great view!

Property was well positioned for view of Pike’s Peak, and the back deck was amazing! Only 5 minutes from Manitou and Old Colorado Springs. Location was amazing.

Our family of 5 had a great stay in Colorado Springs. Beautiful view. Property owner answered right away and check in/out was easy. The property needs some upkeep but overall a nice stay.

Fabulous House!!!

Staying here in this beautiful house was fabulous! The house has a great floor plan and is beautifully decorated. It feels so homey and cozy. On top of that it has a wonderful view of Pikes Peak! I highly recommend this house!!!

Great location and views

Beautiful views off the deck and generally comfortable interior. Americana decor with frontier historical character and large kitchen/eating areas. Responsive host. Quiet at night with lovely fireplace.

Great view with everything you need!

We had three generations of family stay, we had plenty of space, everything we needed and a fantastic view. We spent mornings together making breakfast in the kithchen with games at the table and binocolars out on the deck. The days ended in the basement playing games, pool and piano. The layout was perfect for us. Communication was clear and responses timely before and during our stay.

Million Dollar View!!!

Our family LOVED this home and backyard patio, with fabulous 180 degree views of the mountain range! There was more space than expected and the home was clean and neat. We hope to return again sometime and enjoy this wonderful rental property.

A wonderful base camp for Pikes Peak

This is the 4th time we have used VRBO for a week long trip into Colorado, but this location was amazing. Not only was the house roomy and well taken care of, the back deck was worth the price of the stay. We had 7 in our party (all adults) and there was plenty of room. We cooked almost all of our meals at the house so the big kitchen was another big plus. Bonus highlight, original Sega that came in handy when we were all worn out by the Pikes Peak Acsent.

Excellent location, plenty of room

We rented this home for a few days while attending a college graduation. It was perfect because we had family members from afar so we could all be together even if the graduate wasn't around! Exceptionally well equipped home if you need to do some cooking. The view is gorgeous of Pike's Peak. I noticed the carpet is perhaps in need of cleaning but that is in the basement. The upper level is mostly wood floors. If you tend to be bothered by other people's "stuff" being around, this might not be the rental for you because there are owner items around. Didn't bother us at all, even the food in the frig... whatever, we just moved it aside and there was plenty of space.

This was a perfect place for our family to stay during our time in Colorado Springs.

The home is beautiful inside and contains everything your family will need during your stay. We loved the large deck overlooking the mountains. The home is very close to Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. There is also a grocery store within a couple of miles from the home.

Wonderful stay

Our family enjoyed our stay in Colorado Springs in this home. Especially having meals on the patio with the view of Pikes Peak. The kids reallly enjoyed this too. They also enjoyed the pool table. This home has all amenities needed for cooking and relaxing after a day of hiking or climbing. We will be back!

Views and location was amazing!!

The views of pikes peak were amazing . We were close to everything we wanted to do from pikes peak, cheyenne zoo, royal gorge bridge, cave of the winds etc. We comfortably fit a total of 6 adults and 2 kids. We spent most of our time on balcony or game room in basement. The kids loved that there was a xbox available for there use as well. The kitchen had everything you needed. Also Richard answered our questions promptly before and during stay. Reason for 4 stars, needed space to store clothing in master bedroom, 3 out of 6 beds were not comfortable. But overall a great trip. If you want to be in the center of everything this is the place to stay!

Beautiful home with a deck that faces Pikes Peak. We spent most our time on the deck. Great location

A great home to cook family meals in, very spacious. Big enough for 8 people to have their own personal space. A very large deck that is the best part of the home with excellent privacy. Decorated with an interesting southwestern flair. To make it a 5, more space is needed for personal clothing and toiletries. A central location that is excellent giving you access to any type of activities, city or mountains. The owner is very helpful and responsive making sure everything is going well.

The house was beautiful and well kept. There was plenty of room for all of us. The outside yard area needed some TLC, but the view from the deck was beautiful. The owner was easy to work with and answered my questions promptly.

spacious, lovely view of mountains

The bed situation was not quite what I expected. I had understood that each bedroom would sleep at least 2. We had 4 couples and one couple did not have privacy since they had to sleep on the hide a bed in the downstairs living room because the small bedroom only had 1 twin bed. The 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each would have been great for families with kids to all be in the same room. Everything was nice and we all enjoyed our stay. We appreciated feeling free to use whatever was there, unlike the last place we stayed where we were expected to replace everything we used. The camera in the kitchen and the alerts when someone went outside gave us the feeling we were being watched. It would have been nice to be informed. Otherwise everything was very comfortable.

The view makes this a beautiful place for a home base

Two families stayed here with a total of 5 kids and 4 adults and we all easily and comfortably fit. We spent most of our time on the deck. We tried to explore the back yard a bit but found it pretty difficult to navigate. The location was wonderful and Richard was responsive to our questions before, during and after our stay.

Great visit

Our family of 5 had a great time. The house was spacious and well equipped. Beautiful view from the great deck. We spent a lot of time out there. We also enjoyed the pool table in the evenings. The house is in a good central location. I would definitely recommend it.

Annual Friends and Family Vacation

Our group was comprised of various ages - and we ALL LOVED staying in this house! The Colorado Springs area is already fabulous, with so much to do, but to have this beautiful home to come back to at the end of the day, in such a convenient location, just made the vacation perfect for all of us. The spacious kitchen/dining area was our favorite feature, but the large deck with the gorgeous view of the mountains (including Pikes Peak) was amazing as well. It was a huge bonus to have access to the garage and a circle drive for all of our vehicles. Richard was very responsive, patiently answering questions prior to booking as well as during our stay. The house truly is fully stocked - more so than any other rental we have stayed in - more is provided and available than is advertised. In addition, the this home is FULL of history - the owner's family has a rich history and the photos, artifacts, etc. allow the guests to enjoy it. We felt privileged to be allowed to stay here! If we plan another vacation to this area, we would definitely rent this home again!!!
