Open, well-lit apartment (45m2) in La Croix Valmer, a small village on the Mediterranean (Cote d'Azur), about 15 minutes west of St. Tropez; 1.5 hours to Nice and Marseille. Apartment was recently renovated, including new tiling and shower in the bathroom (February 2023), new laminate flooring in the bedroom (February 2023), and a new paint job, new air conditioning system and upgrading of kitchen (March 2022). Free high speed internet/WIFI throughout the apartment, and premium TV package with over 180 channels. Full, recently renovated kitchen, and a full bathroom, with modern appliances, including a recently purchased washing machine and new and renovated kitchen top counter. Bedroom and pull-out couch in living room, sleeps 4 comfortably. Bed is Queen size (160 cm). Couch/Futon is modern and is very comfortable to sleep in. Modern LCD TV with cable and premium TV package (over 180 channels). The apartment has 2 balconies, both with views of the Mediterranean, the village and the coastal mountains. Apartment is right in the village of La Croix Valmer, with restaurants, cafes, bars and shops all steps away, no need to get in your car. A stunning 25 minute walk through vineyards brings you to one of France's nicest sandy beaches (Plage du Debarquement), with Gigaro beach, Escalet beach, and world famous Pamplonne beach and other beautiful sandy beaches a short drive away. The three famous "Iles D'Or" (Port-Cros, Porquerolles and Levant) can be seen from the apartment balcony, and the ferry to visit them only a short drive away. There are several natural hiking trails along the coast (from Gigaro and Escalet) or into the coastal mountains nearby (from La Garde Freinet or Grimaud), the trailheads are an easy short drive away. Several typical Provencal "perched" villages are nearby, including Gassin, La Garde Freinet, Grimaud, Bormes les Mimosas and Ramatuelle. For a night out, St Tropez is a 15 minute drive away. Local vineyards offer wine-tasting tours, and Domaine de La Croix, the closest one (makes fantastic rose), is a short walk away. The municipal swimming pool is also a short walk away. The apartment comes with free parking spot, right beside the building, on the apartment property. This apartment consistently get 5 star ratings, and the owner will go out of his way to help plan your trip and excursions. The apartment has air conditioning, and a large standing fan. Please note that this accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Delightful family holiday

We had a lovely stay! This apartment is accurately described and a perfect place to enjoy all that the region has to offer. The host gave excellent recommendations which we were very useful for finding the best local places to eat and to enjoy the stunningly beautiful natural surroundings. My only regret was not having enough time to see it all!

Amazing value; perfect location and helpful host!

This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at this place. It is perfectly located in the heart of the village, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Even though it comes with a dedicated parking spot right beside the building, you don’t need a car. You can walk to the beach too. The host is very responsive and helpful, and he can help you plan your trip, as he knows a lot about the area. This place is a gem, great value; it’s my go to place on the French Riviera.

This apartment is top centered in the village. It is a gorgeous and quiet place and all you need is near by. The owner and the housekeepers are very kind and helpful. The apartment is fully equiped. It is also an awesome start into the day on the balcony while having that nice view at the sea. We can truly say it was a lovely vacation and we would love to come back.

The perfect apartment in La Cote d’Azur

Paradise found! This apartment is centrally located, you are only steps away from all the restaurants and shops of La Croix Valmer. The apartment is clean, bright and well designed, and has an awesome view of the Mediteranean from the back balcony. It has air conditioning and all the amenities you will ever need. You can walk from the apartment through vineyards to wide sandy beaches. The host is very responsive and friendly, and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great stay.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt fĂŒr vier Tage in einer kleinen, einfachen und gemĂŒtlichen Wohnung. Das PreisleistungsverhĂ€ltnis ist sehr gut. Das Meer ist mit einem kostenlosen Shuttle Bus zu erreichen. GemĂŒtliches und sauberes Apartment

Das Apartment hat alles was man braucht und ist gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet. Die Bilder beschreiben es zu 100%. Ruhige Lage, alle schnell erreichbar. Darrin ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber, er stellt im vorhinein Informationen zur VerfĂŒgung, die fĂŒr einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt werden (und noch mehr!). Jederzeit ist jemand erreichbar und eine Antwort lĂ€sst nicht lange auf sich warten. Das Apartment war sauber, hier und da merkt man natĂŒrlich das hier auch andere GĂ€ste (oder Darrin) Urlaub gemacht haben. Man kann sich dennoch wohl fĂŒhlen, alles hat ein hygienisches GefĂŒhl vermittelt.

Kleine und feine Wohnung in zentraler Lage in Croix-Valmer. Das Bad ist nicht gefliest und die Dusche lÀuft etwas aus, der Besitzer versicherte und jedoch, dass diese Probleme bei einem Umbau im Herbst beseitigt werden.

nettes Appartement, einfach aber in guter Lage mit hĂŒbscher Aussicht

mit zwei Kindern die richtige GrĂ¶ĂŸe und noch bezahlbar in der NĂ€he der tollen StrĂ€nde, Betten bequem, Bad und Toilette getrennt und sehr eng, KĂŒche recht neu aber ohne GeschirrspĂŒler, zu beiden Seiten Balkone, so daß man gut durchlĂŒften konnte, zum gemĂŒtlichen Sitzen allerdings beide zu klein und im Sommer zu warm :-), aber die WĂ€sche trocknet schnell und die Aussicht wie erwĂ€hnt sehr schön. Klimaanlage haben wir nur an den beiden wĂ€rmsten Tagen gebraucht. Netter Kontakt vorab zum Vermieter. Da speziell nach konstruktiver Kritik gefragt wird, da habe ich tatsĂ€chlich ein paar Punkte: zunĂ€chst war die Adresse falsch, unter Hausnummer 146 ist das Nachbarhaus zu finden und links kein Parkplatz , so daß wir irritiert waren und uns erst durchfragen mußten, am Haus B steht eindeutig die Nummer 178 - das muß doch vorher schon mal jemandem aufgefallen sein ! Als wir dann die HaustĂŒr öffneten, waren wir schockiert und hofften, auch hier falsch zu sein. Alles war auf den ersten Blick dreckig, schĂ€big und kaputt. Das ist kein schöner Empfang am Urlaubsort, wo man sich wohl fĂŒhlen will. Wenn man hier hundert Euro in weiße Farbe investiert und weitere 100 Euro in ein mediterranes Bild mit LED Beleuchtung oder Blumen oder Ă€hnliches, so wĂ€re das fĂŒr wenig Geld ein einigermaßen ansehnliches und einladendes Treppenhaus, auch wenn einem nur die einzelne Wohnung im Haus gehört. Die Wohnung selbst ist gut gepflegt und sauber. Aber warum man im kleinen Bad Laminat verlegt, ist mir ein RĂ€tsel. FĂŒr wieder 100 Euro kann man hier doch kurzfristig Fliesen oder PVC verlegen (lassen), mit Silikon abdichten und alle Probleme mit der Dusche und dem lĂ€stigen (zu kurzen ) Vorhang sind gelöst. Den Besuch von St. Tropez hatten wir fĂŒr unsere RĂŒckfahrt am Samstag geplant und vorab den Betreuer vor Ort gefragt, wie das mit dem Parken ist. Kein Problem versicherte er uns. Nun mag es der spezielle Markttag oder Ferienbeginn gewesen sein, selbst um kurz nach 9 Uhr morgens gab es in der ganzen Stadt keinen einzigen Parkplatz mehr und vorab Stau, weshalb wir enttĂ€uscht abbrechen mußten und das ja nicht erneut versuchen konnten- sehr sehr schade!

Appartement idĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  La Croix Valmer mais ne devant ĂȘtre louĂ© que pour deux personnes. La vie Ă  4 est presque impossible tant l’agencement est mal pensĂ©. Les deux terasses sont des couloirs oĂč mĂȘme deux personnes ont du mal Ă  s’installer. Les Ă©quipements sont mĂ©diocres : canapĂ©-lit de basse qualitĂ©, placard Ă  roulette sans roulette, meuble de salle de bain qui se dĂ©boĂźte, douche sans pression, toilettes exiguĂ«s et nausĂ©abondes
. Je ne parle pas du hall d’entrĂ©e oĂč des insectes se baladent allĂšgrement. En rĂ©sumĂ© : appartement idĂ©al pour sa proximitĂ© du centre mais qui mĂ©rite un coup de neuf et d’entretien. PropriĂ©taire et gĂ©rants trĂšs sympathiques et Ă  l’écoute par ailleurs.

Tutto perfetto!

Appartamento ben attrezzato e come da foto, buona pulizia, balcone con bellissima vista sul mare e sulle colline. La Croix-Valmer Ăš esattamente al centro di una serie di posti magnifici, raggiungibili in 15 minuti. La spiaggia di Pampelonne Ăš fantastica, con sabbia bianca e mare verde. Inoltre il proprietario Ăš molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissimo!!

This property has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the South of France. You can walk to the beach in around 25 minutes, it is an amazing walk through vineyards. Our apartment is in a quiet spot in the village, so you can walk to the bakery, the market or a dozen restaurants, in just a few steps. You can sit on our balcony and stare at the Mediterranean and the vineyards, or you can hop in the car and drive to St Tropez or typical hilltop Provencal villages like Gassin or Ramaturelle in 10 minutes. The kitchen is new and spacious, the apartment was recently renovated (March 2022) and the apartment is cozy and well-lit, and it is quiet. And we have air conditioning, which is essential in the summer. There are dozens of coastal and mountain hiking trails all within a 10 minute drive away. And we have a parking spot!

What makes this property unique

This is the ideal location for a vacation on the Cote D'Azur. You are walking distance to everything, the beaches, the shops, the restaurants and the bars. While you are close to the village, it is a quiet apartment, and you get amazing views of the Mediterranean from the balcony, where you can sit and have a coffee, beer or a glass of rose! You won't be disappointed.
