Beautiful 4 Bedroom Home, Great Location in the heart of Dutch Country

Fully furnished home with large living room and dining room. Relax in the great room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace and plenty of windows. Enjoy the beautiful solid wood floors, elegant wool rugs and modern amenities. Spacious new kitchen with granite countertop, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and large side-by-side refridgerator. Enjoy time with family and friends in the basement game room with large screen TV with Blu-Ray and wet bar. There is also a downstairs powder room. There are four tastefully appointed bedrooms – two sharing a bath and two with private baths. This is a great property for a couples retreat. A large patio with tables and chairs is a great place to have a meal and enjoy the perenial gardens that surround this home. This home is located just 10 minutes east of the historic city of Lancaster and close to Sight and Sound, outlet malls, Amish farms, restaurants, great bicycling roads, and quaint roadside stands. PER TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE, MORE THAN 10 GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Spacious and comfortable!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway with family. The location was very convenient to the Sight and Sound Theater, lots of shopping, and restaurants! The house was lovely - perfect for our group. There were 2 bedrooms and a bath on the main floor, so the older folks didn't have to navigate the stairs to the downstairs bedrooms. Plenty of room for all of us - the large sitting room with the big windows was my favorite. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, clean property with modern amenities

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. House had modern amenities and plenty of "gathering" spots so that different groups could have conversations, play games, watch TV, etc. without feeling cramped. Spotless. Kitchen had all amenities to cook. Esp loved the bar downstairs for snacks, desserts, and drinks while we watched movies. Nancy was super prompt and accommodating. Lots to do in area but if you want to go for a walk or run be sure to drive to a neighboring area as main road out front is not safe for that type of activity.

Perfect for our family

We stayed in the home and gathered with our adult children. The house was clean and large enough for us to spread out. Didn’t use the washer/ dryer but nice to have it there. Kitchen was well stocked. Was worried about street noise but was not a problem. Had a nice outdoor area but was too cold to be outside.

Shopping trip

This is an annual shopping trip with moms, aunt and cousins. Us ladies lived the house immensely! It was beautiful amd clean. Amd great location.

Lovely stay in Lancaster

Property was clean and perfectly situated to all activities in Lancaster. We were a group of 8, and we all had lots of room - bedrooms were good size, lots of bathrooms, large kitchen and dining room table, two living room areas with tv, and large sitting room that was nice for reading. There was a good size backyard that our kids enjoyed for soccer games. Overall a great place to stay.

Fellowship with church family

Our stay was awesome! We rented both houses and had plenty of room for everyone. We cooked our meals and ate at the house. We went to Sight and Sound Theatre, literally right down the road. We also went to Intercourse and took a buggy ride and enjoyed a festival and shopping. This was also very close to the house. The fact that everyone had their own bathroom in their room was wonderful! We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful 4 Bedroom Home

This home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our visit to PA. Three couples traveled to the Lancaster area, specifically to see 'Daniel' at the Sight & Sound Theater. The home was spotless, very roomy, and the hosts were attentive and very welcoming. There was plenty of room for all 3 couples, including bathrooms, as well as several ample gathering spaces. I highly recommend this home for family and friends, and I will definitely re-book the next time I'm in PA.

Great Girls Weekend

Seven ladies on our yearly getaway to Lancaster. In the past we stayed in a hotel, but we will never do that again after the lovely experience we had at this home. The home was very well maintained, clean, spacious, and well-stocked. It had all the comforts of home and was centrally located to all the things we enjoy doing every year. Would definitely be happy to stay there again and recommend it to others.

Women’s US Open week

The house was as advertised. My friends and I are volunteers at USGA Championships and PGA tournaments around the country. We prefer to stay at houses instead of hotels. We spend more time together and have access to full kitchens. This house had 3 sitting areas for TV watching and morning coffee before heading out to the course. The only downside was that it was located next to a major road with trucks going to work early in the morning. The plus side of that was the large picture window in the front where we watched the Amish horse drawn buggies coming and going. The house was minutes from Bird in the Hand and, ahem, Intercourse communities which had Amish wares to see. My fiancé spent some time in the quilting stores. Overall, a great experience.

This property does just that. Just a few minutes off of Route 30, yet mere yards away from Amish farms and backroads. The thriving and culturally exciting city of Lancaster is a very short drive.
