Large, quiet sparkling clean condo in Palm Aire CC

Lovely place to stay while visiting relatives in the Sarasota area. Neil is a terrific host. Great location within short distance to shopping, beaches and restaurants.

Nice location and view

There are 2 bedrooms and one room with a pull out couch. Met our needs and was an easy commute to most local places. The pool was wonderful and walking distance. This property is a bit dated but if you are looking for a friendly and safe place this is it.

Perfect for convenience.

Everything was great for our purpose. The condo is very comfortable and the decor was great. We especially enjoyed the view from the lanai. The location is very convenient to shops, restaurants and the airport. The only negative was that the unit had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. However, that was easily remedied with a bottle of Fabreze. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice area in North Sarasota

We stayed here Jan. 26. to April 6, 2023. First the pros - the unit is big, the view from the lanai is gorgeous, communication with the owner was great, the queen bed in the master was very comfortable for us, the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom are ok for kids, we did not use the sofa bed, it is in a very nice area with lots of restaurants, the pool was clean and very warm and not very crowded, all the people we met were very nice, there is a lot of different areas to walk nearby. Now the cons - when we arrived at first glance it was presentable. As I looked at the microwave, fridge, stove all were a mess the microwave had a red sauce splattered all over, the oven was a greasy mess, the fridge had something gooey all over the glass shelves, the floor especially in the kitchen was greasy and my feet were black after a few steps. When I checked the bathrooms the floors had not been cleaned long dark hair everywhere and urine stained the grout all around the toilets. The tub in the master had black footprints you could see. The lanai was not touched thick dust covered the glass table and floor ( I know it is only screened but after We cleaned it, it stayed good for weeks and only slightly dusty). Also the sliding doors to the lanai became very hard to move and we had to put them back on the track constantly. The garbage disposal was replaced because it kept backing up if you used the dishwasher. The washer only had scalding hot water which I didn’t notice for a few days. The washer/dryer combo was replaced a couple weeks before we left. After I talked with the owner he sent the cleaning lady out and she did the floors and oven. I had already cleaned the fridge, microwave, and bathrooms. The unit needs a major update and deep cleaning. Also a new set of pots and pans. There are plenty of dishes and glasses and silverware. If you have a problem with cigarette smoke the unit upstairs, someone smokes a lot, and it seeps into the downstairs unit so you will smell smoke a couple times a day usually. Overall, Neil‘s place is comfortable once you get it set up to your liking. Neil is easily reached and will usually handle most anything pretty quickly. He has a handy lady named Jen that is very nice and will do pretty much anything if needed.

We loved it!

We spent a beautiful month at Neil's property He was always available and more than flexible with all our changes because of Argentina " s COVID restrictions and cancellations. The pool is near and we went every day after a healthy walk around the neighborhood. Manu kinds of diferent birds approaches to the bavkyard, also rabbits and skirles. Thank You Neil! We tried to leave everything in orden!!

Palm Aire

Neil was very easy to deal with. Minor problem with access was resolved within minutes. Property was spacious, well equipped. Developed a rapport with Neil which, I believe, will lead to future rental arrangements.
