a nice getaway

nice cozy cabin with fabulous view and river access. Excellent wi-fi, necessary because I had to work while there. Older home, with all of the essentials. Niceties such as spices, kitchen equipment, etc. Great location that we’ll likely visit again. Only complaint: front steps have no handrail. Husband and I both use a cane, so that was harder to navigate. Steps down to the river were excellent, however. Nicely done. We arrived just after dark on the first say, and no lights made it a bit harder to navigate. Perhaps leave a motion sensor light on for new arrivals.

Absolutely amazing & beautiful!

Absolutely amazing!!! In every room of the house you can hear the river or creek sounds all day and all night while you sleep. Lay in the hammock or the rocking chairs while listening to the river on the deck. It was also the most incredible place to do yoga with the large spacious deck, overlooking the river and woods. The cabin is dated, but extremely functional and well put together! It was very comfortable and enjoyable to cook in the kitchen for the entire family. Everything had excellent directions and information about the house and area. The property manager was easy to reach and very helpful when needed. This was the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at.
