Ocean front one story beach house on West Cliff Dr. between Natural Bridges State beach and the light House. 1 king master suite, 2 queen bedrooms with hall bathroom. 4th bedroom detached away from the house next to garage, family room faces ocean, kitchen with dining area faces ocean, dining table seats 6, kitchen bar seats 3, central heat, gas fireplace insert, double pained windows, linens and towels provided, beach towels, few rolls of T.P. Laundry soap, dishwashing soap, shampoo. Outdoor gas grill with patio dining table. Front yard faces ocean with people watching or sea life watching from our patio viewing chairs. TV's in two queen bedrooms and one TV in the living room.“The location is unbeatable, close to the best of West End spots, e.g., breweries, wineries, tide pools, grocery, and the best multi use trail in Santa Cruz across the street that runs along West Cliff Drive which is great for walking, running, riding a bike, or people watching. Parking is easy. Sleeping, cooking, and game playing for a family of 6 is easy in this well laid out house. ”

Family Vacation

Awesome property, awesome experience, awesome stay! Only nit pik would be the road noise at that corner, and tons of foot traffic at times. A wish list item would be a balcony facing the ocean.

Hidden Gem

This house is a hidden gem along one of the most beautiful coast lines. House was well stocked and the ocean views are second to none. We enjoyed walking along the coastline and having easy access to all Santa Cruz attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Location On the Beach

A wonderful vacation. The condo was spacious, well appointed with an amazing view. A minute or less from the beach and a block from town along the boardwalk...a short block. I was so, so impressed with the friendly rental agents. Normally I don't mention that but they were terrific.

Great week in Santa Cruz

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked and just as it appeared in the photos. We enjoyed the views from the kitchen and living room. We also loved walking along West Cliff Dr. in both directions. There was a great couch in the living room that fit the whole family. Would love to come back.

Beautiful house with excellent view. Good communication with the owners. All the amenities we needed. We enjoyed walking along West Cliff every morning. Would stay here again, or longer if we could.

Just as advertised!

Our stay at this rental was as easy and pleasant as it could have been. We had 8 guests total and fit inside hanging out together quite comfortably. Everything went as it was expected to go, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I would also recommend the place to friends. Location was beautiful, house was clean and comfortable, communicating with the manager was easy and cordial. Everything was good.

Great house, great location.

Beautiful house with tasteful beach decor. Large dining table, bar stools, and plenty of seating throughout the home. Ultra-comfortable sectional with reclining chairs in living room is ideal to enjoy the million dollar view, people watch, read, or visit. Desk and lounge sofa ideally situated in the front window All rooms feel spacious with plenty of surfaces to organize your belongings. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals. My mother has trouble with stairs so we appreciated that this house is one level with only a few short steps to enter. Additional "bedroom" located within the garage is great for more space, although it does not have a bathroom so that could be a consideration for some, but for our group it wasnt a problem. Only other downside was that the entire area has poor cell service, WiFi was great in the house, but does not reach the garage room. Overall, would definitely recommend this property!

A Delightful Oceanview Retreat on West Cliff Drive

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Liz’s oceanview house on West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz for a girls' birthday weekend celebration, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the charm and comfort of the house. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing us with a restful night's sleep after our days of exploration and celebration. But perhaps the highlight of our stay was the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sight of the Pacific Ocean stretching out before us was simply magical. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee on the porch or unwinding in the evening the panoramic vista never failed to captivate us. Even the rainy weather on Saturday couldn't dampen our spirits. In fact, watching the raindrops dance on the waves only added to the cozy ambiance of the house, making it the perfect excuse to curl up indoors and enjoy each other's company. Overall, our stay at this oceanview house on West Cliff Drive met all of our expectations. It provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable birthday celebration with friends, offering comfort, charm, and an unbeatable view. We're already dreaming of our next visit!

Lovely Vacation House to Celebrate 40th Bday

The house is beautiful and comfortable, but it's the location that took my breath away. The house overlooks the ocean and every morning when I awakened and lifted the shades to see that view of the sea and sky I just basked in the beauty for a moment or three. My best friend and I stayed here with our husbands and kids for a birthday weekend and the location was just right for walks along the coast, tidepooling, and day trips to the marine center, botanical gardens, and redwoods. It would be lovely, peaceful and calming to stay in with just adults but it accommodated four children ages 3 to 11 just fine as well. I couldn't recommend it more.

My family owns this property. We live in near by Los Gatos. We live close to this property so we can upkeep and fix things and the property and visit and stay. The house is always in good condition for our guests.

Why they chose this property

The Catholic Church sold us this beach house. The priest built the house and the nuns were living in it. The nuns were so grateful to live in the beach house. They referred to the house as living in a area everyone wants to visit. We even have a church pew bench. We remodeled the house and turned it into a short term vacation rental to share with others.

What makes this property unique

Ocean front view of the bay leading across to Monterey. West Cliff is a linear park you can walk along the ocean or ride your bike for miles. Clean and well maintained house. Spectacular views.
