This property contains both a five bedroom, 2-1/2 bath main house and a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage. Both houses are available to rent either individually or together, depending upon your needs. The house and the cottage are priced individually. Contact owner for pricing and availability for the cottage. The main house features a king size bed in the master bedroom with an attached full bath. Bedroom 2 contains a full size bed as does Bedrooms 3, 4, and 5. All bedrooms are on the second floor. The main house has a another full bath on the first floor and an additional 1/2 bath upstairs.
There is a loft area on the second floor with a wicker sofa and chair and TV.
Main level features fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave.

The guest cottage is a 2 bedroom (both contain full size beds) and one bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, and cookware. There is a stove, refrigerator, microwave, stackable washer and dryer. Towels and linens are provided. There is a deck attached to house plus a deck overlooking the lake.

Very nice, comfortable property in an excellent location. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the large outdoor deck. Several restaurants (and ice cream stand!) just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

The house was great overall. It was VERY cold and windy when we visited, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space at all, which stinks because it looks awesome out there. Because it was very cold when we visited, we were a little short on blankets. We had to borrow some from family that lives in the area during our stay. Additionally, the sheets on all the beds would not stay on. Everyone was complaining about sleeping on the bare mattress protector. These are pretty minor issues for what was an overall great stay in a very nice house.

This was my third year staying at this property, and it never disappoints. The house was very clean upon arrival. The view is spectacular and the house is located in a good neighborhood near William Vincent Winery. The washer/dryer were new from last year. The house is charming. My only suggestion would be to put a queen-sized bed in the room with the closet in the event of two couples staying. As always, leaving was difficult!

Very enjoyable stay by the lake!

We were very happy with the house. It is situated right on the lake and we enjoyed waking up and looking out at the lake everyday. The house we clean and just as described. The hot tub was a nice touch as well. Definitely recommend this for a stay!

The House was very clean and the view of the the lake was outstanding!! The bedrooms were a nice size and beds comfortable! The jacuzzi tub was wonderful and the hot tub was really nice as well. I understand now why this property is always booked!! I will be looking to rebook hopefully next summer since there currently are no openings we highly recommend this rental property!!!

Thanksgiving Fun!

We love staying here for Thanksgiving. It is a great getaway for our family as its just two hours away which allows some of us to come for the whole week and others for the long weekend. The well equipped kitchen makes holiday meal prep easy and the house is lovely any time of year. We look forward to spending more memory-making vacations in this great house.

FHSU Wrestling Loved It

This place was perfect for our collegiate wrestling team while we were in town for th U23 National Championships! Nothing could be coming back to the views and the hot tub/cold lake contrast after a long day of competition! The proximity to good restaurants was a plus for us coaches as well! We highly recommend this location!

We live in a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio. It is only a little over an hour away from home which makes it convenient when we want to get away and relax.

Why they chose this property

It has been a long time dream of ours to have a place in this area. A family member used to have a place in Madison and we always had a good time when we visited. We took many drives in the area over the years searching for a house right on the water and when we found this house we knew we had to have it.

What makes this property unique

As soon as you walk through the door you are met with views of Lake Erie. Sitting on the deck and watching the ships and the beautiful sunsets make you feel like you are at the ocean without having to travel that far.
