This property was perfect for our trip to the rocky mountains! Surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife like hummingbirds it was a relaxing place to stay after our hikes. It's the perfect distance from estes park and there are wonderful businesses in town that have great souvenirs and food. I would definitely stay here again.
Sweet intimate space. Appreciated the overall decor and vibe. Reasonable pricing, close to Rocky Mountain National Park, and easy parking. Was a bit tough to find, owner does text you instructions which was helpful.
We loved our stay. The front porch was welcoming and a great gathering place. Other family members had booked the other two cabins. Our host was attentive and welcoming. Rocky Mountain national part is easily accessible but there isn’t the crowds of people in Estes Park.
This little cabin was just the get away the wife and I needed for a few days. It was cozy and well furnished. Clean and comfortable. Neither of us could figure out how to get the light above the shower to turn on, so we just assumed it was burned out. The cabin itself seemed to have uneven floors, but that’s not a reflection of the host’s/hostess’s capabilities. Overall a fantastic stay and a very relaxing week. Would stay again given the opportunity.
The location was perfect for launching on my daily hikes- either to RMNP or Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. There is delicious pizza nearby which was great after getting 14+ miles in on the trails. My contact for the property was responsive to my questions far faster than I ever expected. Highly recommend.
My husband and I decided to have a last minute babymoon with some flight credits we had and this place was perfect! We were able to get to Estes Park and Boulder very easily as this place is right in between the two. Amenities are what you would expect for a cabin in the mountains. The contact was great to work with and communicated very well. Snacks were left in the cabin ready for us which was great for this very pregnant lady 😅 The internet speed was the biggest downside but we always downloaded what we needed when we got into Estes park or boulder and it wasn’t a big deal at all! Would stay here again!
Really lovely little cabin - wasn't difficult to find at all once I had put a pin on Google maps. There is very little cell phone coverage in this area as a whole so maybe downloading the map area is a good plan. The cabin is cute - has a gas fire, deck with comfy chairs and a view, a small wishing well Infront and a comfy bed. The fridge had a few things in it which was a nice change from just salt. Perhaps past guests hotsauce and ketchup etc - but I wish more hosts would leave these bits that are useful to short stay travellers. This cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 people and a small dog maybe. It's very tiny but not cramped or too small. There are amenities in the local community including a fairly decent breakfast burrito at the tree huggers shop and good coffee too. I wouldn't bank too much on the other things being open - they weren't when I was there despite saying so. However, Estes Park is only 25 up the road and has loads of stuff to stock up or eat out.I would highly recommend this cabin. No negatives at all. Thanks for the stay and the friendly texts to make sure I had all the info and everything I needed.
We had troubles initially finding the cabin. This was my reason for two ratings to be at 4 stars instead of 5. Felt it could have been marked clearer for us to find easier. Easy to find the location, but the Minnehaha sign blended in instead of standing out for us.
Outside of that everything else was good and owners do a good job of covering what is at the cabin for use. Although the cabin is grouped with others its private and quietin the area. Originally we felt this was a good not great location to RMNP with the gate in Estes Park being roughly 30 minutes away. After our 1st day in the park this location turned out to be great as we discovered the Wild Basin area that was about 2 miles away and way less people then going into better known spots of the park (Bear Lake and Trail Ridge Road).
Would stay again here and recommend to others that are wanting to use their hotel/cabin mainly as a place to shower and sleep. A nice plus was the internet signal was strong and good response for the WiFi at the cabin.
Check in was good and owner responsive and right next door which was nice as no cell coverage. Place was clean and bed super comfortable. Kitchen only room for one but managed to cook a dinner in there and the sink is nice and big. It worked out fine for us. This place only good for 2. Would not even try to cram a 3rd person in there. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
A few things to know:
-There is a small walk up a path to get it cabin from parking spot so left our big cooler in the car. We showed up after dark and needed phone flashlight to guide way up path. Not too far but worth knowing if you have any disability. Would be nice to have more lighting. There are some solar lights on the path but not adequate.
-there is another cabin fairly close and owner very close also. The other cabin was empty and we had good quiet privacy so wasn't an issue at all for us but if you want secluded this is not it.
-shower only enough hot water for one good shower so if you are a shower glutton then you might be dissatisfied.
-no cell coverage but wifi worked fine. This is stated in listing so shouldn't be a surprise.
-chairs on the front porch aren't very comfortable so upgrading those would go a long way to enjoying the porch for coffee in the morning.
-spring water around the bend in the road was an extra benefit and we enjoyed filling up our water jugs before our hikes.
- Wild Basin area of RMNP close by and was able to avoid the craziness of Estes Park.

Chris, thank you for your review. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed this lovely cabin! The owners will be adding extra lighting and will also be changing to a tankless water heater, so hot water will no longer be a concern. Thank you for helping us to improve and we hope to host you again in the future! Best, the Evolve Team
Very cozy little spot. Friendly helpful owner close by. Breathtakingly beautiful area.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Inaccuracies Abound
I’m writing this not as a negative review, but as a more accurate description than the listing provides. The accommodations are misrepresented and managing expectations is key. Had the listing been more accurate, and I chose to stay here knowing these things, the review wouldn’t be necessary.
Cabin: the professional photos are misleading. Space is much smaller and the floors are sloping, in various directions, with slanted walls, which caused a bit of vertigo.
“WiFi”: with WiFi I was able to send short texts to other iPhone users, but not androids. (The owner has an Android so, unable to communicate by text.) Photos generally went through as well. The last evening the connection was slow so I couldn’t even plan my last day using All Trails or just general google searches- the pages would not load. I couldn’t even get the weather app to load.
“Well appointed” kitchen: one person can kind of fit in this space, the appliances do function. If you cook anything, good luck cooling the cabin down to sleep.
Cleanliness: when I opened the coffee maker the first morning the previous filter was still in it, containing molding coffee grounds. There was a preused sponge to clean dishes with. I definitely would have preferred a new one. The soap dispenser at the sink is not dish soap (or was maybe diluted/very inexpensive), nor was there a bottle under the sink; the soap would not cut through residue left from pan frying a steak. In Covid times, this made me concerned about all other cleaning. The owner did leave disinfectant spray.
Shower: is the tiniest (!!!) with about 5-7 minutes of hot water. I’m a small/normal female and I barely fit inside the shower. Washing my hair was especially difficult. The hot water ran out very quickly. (Again, a heads up, managing expectations, that after a full day of hiking, you have just a few minutes of hot water, would be nice. This would be especially disappointing in the winter.)
Photos with the view: I have no idea where the photos were taken, certainly not the front porch of the cabin and the area is too overgrown (also misrepresented in the photos) to walk around either side of the cabin to the back.
Again, a more accurate description should be given so people know what to expect before choosing whether to stay here.

Jaclyn, The right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed this wasn't the one. We would also like to share the following after reading your feedback:
-We use professional and recent pictures to accurately display the property inside and out. There are pictures of the shower in the listing that show it's size and height.
-Square footage of the cabin is also provided- this way guests can decide ahead of time if the property is the right fit for them.
-We can confirm that the owner went above and beyond during your stay, including trying to find you other accommodations because you were suffering from vertigo.
We wish you the best in all your future travels, and we are confident this owner will continue to provide excellent guest service!
The cabin was adorable and clean. The property is exactly how the owners explain it. My husband and I spent all day in RMNP so the cabin was perfect for the evenings. The kitchen was nicely stocked and she provided coffee and a basket of snacks. The cabin is located w/in 20 min of Estes and the entrance to the Park. Also a shout out to the local pizza place. The pizza is AMAZING and the staff was super friendly and informative. The entire experience was 6 out of 5 stars!

Perfection
This cabin was cozy as described. Very clean and perfect location. Near Estes Park, Wild Basin Lodge and the Rocky Mountain National park. Its perfect for 2 people. Bed is very comfortable. Meadow Mountain Cafe is .1 miles away and very good food, not fast food and very small but worth the wait. I would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Just the basics. Slightly misleading
Small little cabin. Quiet and secluded. Small twin bed is not a pull out. It is a bench with no mattress pad so you must bring your own. Kitchen has just the basics nothing extra. No garbage bin outside the cabin to take care of garbage. Had to carry it into town to dump. This is a little over priced for what it offers.
