Perfect place for our family holiday in Port Douglas. The property is beautifully presented and had everything we needed as a family travelling with teens and younger children. Would not hesitate to recommend Chez Brolga as a base for exploring North Queensland.

We absolutely loved this property as it was perfect for our Wedding celebrations ! It was so very homely with everything we needed including an expectional range of kitchen appliances and even an electric make up mirror for the bridal party to use complete their make up on the day of our wedding. Most importantly, the host was very friendly, contactable and willing to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We are already planning on coming back for future holidays !

Girls trip

Great house, very clean with lots of space for the 6 of us. Clare is nice and friendly. Questions were answered promptly and she gave us good suggestions. We didn’t have a car but the local bus service is reliable. Would definitely stay here again if travelling to Port Douglas.

Just loved this house. Communication with Clare was above and beyond. The grandchildren loved the pool. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. I would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you Clare for being a brilliant host.

A beautiful clean home with everything you need!

It was a pleasure to stay at this property. It has 5 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms, pool and fully covered outdoor area. It was extremely clean and Clare (the host) ensured we had everything we needed from tea, coffee machine, fresh milk, condiments, chocolates, beach towels and so much more. It's a short drive to the main shops. I recommend booking a shuttle bus as only $10 per day per person for unlimited pick ups.

Fabulous

This is a house that makes you dream of living in Port Douglas. The gardens are stunning and provided a great place to play hide and seek for the children. The house has EVERYTHING you could want - pool, outside speakers, a massive choice of outdoor seating, breakout room for the kids, multiple beds, laundry. The little extra supplies of coffee, tea, washing powder is a simple thing but massively improves a stay. And the kitchen was absolutely the most well-stocked I've ever seen. Simply, it really was a perfect stay!

Excellent!!

We could not fault one thing about the Chez Brolga. We went for a family weekend away, the place has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a nice big outdoor patio area. The place is more than big enough. The pool, pool toys and disco lights were a big hit for the kids! The place was fully stocked with linen, extra pool towels and kitchen supplies, it had everything we needed to have a nice relaxing family getaway. Would definitely book this place again!

Had everything you could need

From the excellent communication to the facilities at the property, the owner has thought of everything. I didn’t need anything but clothes. So clean and tidy! Beautiful and so well appointed.

I stayed at this property with four other girlfriends and we loved it. It had everything we needed and more. The pool was amazing and the property was spacious and comfortable so everyone could spread out or group together. I would definitely go back and the host Clare was lovely.

The house with everything!

The property was better than excepted. It was like a resort with all the incidentals catered for. Hosts communicated very well and the property was spotless. IGA within waking distance, weather magic!

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home in an idyllic part of Australia. Clare welcomed us at the door and immediately made us all feel welcome. A stunning home with everything you need and set in a gorgeous lush garden. Full of helpful information & recommendations on trips to do and restaurants to try. We thoroughly recommend this and truly hope to revisit.

Amazing experience

The house was amazing and so were the owners! The property was in pristine condition when we arrived with plenty of little inclusions to make us feel at home! Clare even purchased a port a cot for the baby we had travelling with us! There was 9 in our group and there was still plenty of room for us either inside or out the back in the entertaining area! The house is about 5-8 min drive from Port Douglas centre but that did not bother us as we had our own transport! I highly recommend this property and if we are ever lucky enough to travel to Port Douglas again we will be checking this property for availability! Thanks Clare for the great experience!
