About the host
Hosted by Susan McGee
Having had a life long dream of owning a historic bed and breakfast, I finally purchased this home in 2014 and began extensive remodeling and upgrading. It has been a wonderful journey, meeting guests from all over the world and making them feel right at home here.
Why they chose this property
This home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because it was built in 1910, in the Four Square American Movement style. It is conveniently located only blocks to downtown, yet sits on Pecan covered half acre lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. A quick walk and you can have a choice of great places to eat, awesome live music, a brewery, parks, galleries, live theatre and multiple historic sites.

Whether you are enjoying the big yard with sweet magnolias, the huge covered porches with swings and rockers, the full country breakfasts or the array of shops and things to do see & do, you will surely enjoy your stay.
