Quaint Gumnut Cottage - isolated and private for one couple.

Gumnut Cottage is isolated and private. A delightful quaint cedar cottage for two people located on the grounds of Redgum Hill Country Retreat on the Blackwood River. Redgum Hill Country Retreat is located in the heart of south Western Australia. The property is close to wineries, 15ks to Nannup and 25ks to Balingup. Being centrally located in the south west it is around an hours drive to Margaret River, Busselton, Augusta, Pemberton, Bunbury and Bridgetown. The cottage overlooks the river and adjacent forest and has one attic bedroom with a Juliet balcony. Down stairs comprises a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and WC and a generous living area for two people. There is a verandah on which the cedar spa is located. The cottage is approximately 20 metres from the main house but very private. Guests can sit on the Juliet balcony overlooking the forest and river enjoying the birds and wildlife. Our cottage has a Kent fire and air-conditioning. It's a perfect place for a romantic and peaceful stay.

Perfect little cottage in beautiful location

We loved Gumnut cottage....it was so quaint and private but had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. My favourite part was sitting on the upstairs balcony eating breakfast and watching the local birdlife. The outdoor spa was a fantastic bonus. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a secluded getaway weekend at this lovely cottage near Nanup. Our hosts greeted us and communicated in a timely fashion and the cottage was, as advertised. Lovely outlook towards the bush in a beautiful tranquil location.

We initially stayed at the property whilst attending a wedding at Nannup. We loved the surrounding areas and accommodation. We purchased the property two years later and have loved it ever since.

What makes this property unique

Our property is a smallish country property offering peace and tranquility far from the madding crowds. If it's a relaxing quiet and natural setting you're seeking then our property is the place to book.
