A picturesque, quiet and private 75 acre ranch that is complimented with extreme attention to detail. You like the photos? The real thing is even better! This is country living at its finest.
Imagine staying your very own gorgeous, renovated Civil War Era Log Cabin with all the modern amenities at your fingertips.
Whether you're enjoying a tranquil morning coffee overlooking the beautiful Nashville countryside complete grazing horses or luxuriating in the indoor whirlpool tub - this property exudes peaceful relaxation and romance.
When you're not enjoying the properties many amenities or just basking in the country air - you're less than 10 minutes to shopping and restaurants. If you're looking for excitement - we are a short drive to both the Grand Ole Opry and Broadway Street in downtown Nashville.
Please note, this property is set up for adults. We love children, however, this cottage was designed and built for couples who are seeking a place to get away from it children. The floor plan and amenities for each rental will accommodate only 2 adults. We have another 1 bedroom rental (Magnolia Cottage) on the property, all privately situated.

Gordon got into vacation rental properties years ago while visiting friends in Hawaii. He was so enamored with the islands that he purchased a property out there with his good friend Bonnie.
Despite loving the seaside vacation rental in Hawaii but found that family and the country were calling his name.
Upon coming to the mainland, Gordon decided to look for a larger property that could function as a business and provide a nice retirement for his parents. So, he purchased this serene, rural Tennessee cabin business from the original owners Nate and Rhonda Powell in the spring of 2018.
Together with his family, they now continue the tradition set forth by the original owners who poured their love into this property.

Why they chose this property
This old family farm has seen 5 generations enjoy this beautiful land. In 2001, Nate & Rhonda designed and built the first rental, 'The Magnolia Cottage.'
With much success, another rental 'Uncle Pete's Cabin' was added into the fold. The log portion of this cabin was actually built by Nate's Uncle Pete during the Civil War era.
In 2008, the Calico Cottage was added. It was a studio (efficiency) rental that adds a second bedroom/bath for two couples traveling together who want private sleeping quarters. Lots of couples like to rent the Calico as their private little rental on it's own.
Right now, Calico Cottage is being used full time, but we have both the Magnolia Cottage and Uncle Pete's listed here, be sure to check them out!

You will be out and away from the noisy city but only 5 minutes from I-40, and 15 minutes to downtown Nashville or The Grand Ole Opry. At the Interstate exit you'll have the convenience of a shopping mall, casual dining restaurants like the Olive Garden, O'Charley's, Logans Roadhouse, Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel, Cheddar's, Longhorn Steak House and several fast food eateries.
