We had a great time. Tom was very easy to communicate with and was around if we needed anything. The house was comfortable and clean. We look forward to a return trip
This house and the property is amazing! The house is very clean, modern and spacious. It has everything you need and all the kitchen appliances and dishes/utensils are of great quality (something you don’t see often in rental properties). The host is very helpful and was always happy to answer any questions. Overall, this is a great property to relax by the lake or in the pool and we will definitely be back.

Perfect for Intimate Family Gathering!
My family had a most wonderful stay, celebrating my Mom's 70th birthday weekend. We greatly enjoyed spending time at the home; swimming in the waterfall pool, kayaking on the private lake, BBQ'ing and meals outside on the patio, seeing the wildlife, the comforts of the home, and the peace and tranquility of the location. It was also perfect distance to drive to our 1-day river rafting excursion on the Middle Fork of the American River. There were 3 children (8, 3 and 1) in our family who loved the pool and exploring the property as well. We look forward to staying again!
We had a wonderful vacation. Kids and grandkids, said they had the best time ever! The only advice I could give is to bring an icemaker if you have one. The house refrigerator didn’t make ice. Luckily for us one of the grandkids was coming up later so he was able to bring his up. It was hot and we went through a lot of ice. Otherwise a trip that will be remembered.
The Lake house was beautiful and even better than advertised. The house was clean and had all the amenities that you’d want in a the house. We brought our kayaks and we’re able to drive the trailer down to the dock to get them in the water. We went out in the lake every day - the water was warm enough to swim in and was great for kayaking. Our host Tom was awesome - he made sure that we had everything we needed and responded quickly when we had a question. We’re looking forward to coming back here again!

Lovely Ladies Retreat
This property exceeded my expectations. It was fully furnished to accomodate 7of us and the entire home and yard were comfortable and well equipped. The appliances worked well and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Tom did let us know in advance to bring our own ice and that worked out great. The lower yard area is a great space to hang out , listen to music, watch the television, swim, read, play games and nap. The upper deck accomodated our evening chit chat and cocktails.
We were pleased to meet Tom and have an orientation as we settled in for our stay. We would like to return again next year.

What an incredible place! Tom is a great host and went out of his way to make sure we felt like his home was our home for the weekend.
He was there to greet us and show us how to use the pool, hot tub and the wifi set up for both the pool area and the house. We have used VRBO for several years now for family reunion weekend vacations. All who gathered this year agreed this is by far the best!

Heaven!!!
For us, my Husband, I and our 2 teen boys, this was an all inclusive private resort and only a 2 hour driving distance from our Bay Area home. Soft beds, warm feelings of home, beautiful sunsets and a boat launch where we were able to keep our own boat. Charming market close by and Historic Auburn just Down the road.
I can't wait to go back!
