This delightful two-bedroom home is an exceptional value for couples, young families or business travelers. Located in a quiet East Greenwich neighborhood, it's near some of New England's most beautiful beaches and historic towns, and close to airports and trains to Boston and New York.

Enjoy a beautiful gourmet kitchen, living room with large HDTV, comfortable bedrooms with a/c, high-speed Wi-Fi and spacious backyard with a Weber gas grill. Everything you need for a memorable vacation or restful retreat is right here.

Relax and unwind in your choice of two bedrooms. Both have premium Queen mattresses, luxurious bedding, window air conditioners for warm summer nights and plenty of heat to keep you warm during colder times of the year. Plush bath and beach towels, soap and shampoo are included.

The beautiful kitchen has a state-of-the-art gas stove/oven with a large microwave oven. There's a coffeemaker for your morning brew, which you can enjoy at the diner-style counter with four comfortable stools -- or sip it outside in the backyard.

The living room features a large HDTV with premium cable and Bose soundbar. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and there's a separate home office with printer if you need to get some work done. The bathroom includes a high-efficiency washer/dryer.

There are 2 parking spots in the driveway. The shed has beach chairs and an umbrella and cooler you can take with you for excursions. Adults only in the shed, please, because it contains cleaning materials.

No smoking inside house. No parties or loud music allowed - this is a residential neighborhood.

Rhode Island sales and hotel tax is included in your reservation.

Jed’s place in East Greenwich is a great place to stay. We had a great time and loved everything about the property it was very cozy and it had everything you need. Charming and Cozy

It was a pleasant and seamless stay. Super clean, the towels and linens were all of good quality, well stocked with basic essentials like, paper towels, tp, baggies and such. Nice neighborhood is located between the beaches and Boston. I would stay there again for sure.

Charming little ranch

I can't say enough about my rental. It was very clean and the check-in process was simple. There was shampoo and conditioner provided, also laundry detergent and plenty of towels. I loved the location as I was very familiar with the area. Very updated kitchen with coffee provided. I can't say enough about how comfortable I found the entire rental!

Wished we could have stayed longer!

As former Rhode Islanders now retired to Florida this was the perfect location for us, near everything and everyone we wanted to visit. The neighborhood is a beautiful quiet family one. The cottage is spacious and equipped with everything plus very clean and well maintained. If you think you need to bring something, ask 1st and you will probably find they have already provided it! Peter quickly responded to all my texts before and during our stay and even came to meet us one day. Our only regret was not staying longer but we hope to come back.

A little Rhode Island Gem

We stayed here for 19 nights in May 2019 and had a fantastic stay. We loved Jed’s place it was a real home from home. We settled in well and wanted for nothing. Jed’s place is in a quiet residential area minutes from the gorgeous town of East Greenwich with its thriving Main Street. The location was central and we spent time not only exploring the beautiful towns in Rhode Island but further afield to Boston and Cape Cod spending an overnight in Provincetown. We had planned to eat out more but discovered Dave’s Marketplace with its fantastic food and after busy days exploring grabbed a meal and a bottle of wine and relaxed feet up watching the Red Sox. We bought an annual membership to the Newport Mansions and spent quite a few days exploring what they offered. We loved them - coming from the U.K. we do have a lot of stately homes but the summer cottages of Newport were just spectacular. Deciding what property we would buy on Ocean Drive was fun - if we win the lottery of course. Peter, Jed’s co host was fantastic and communication with him was easy. Chief John next door was a delight and we enjoyed meeting and chatting to them both. We loved our stay, Rhode Islanders are so friendly wanting to strike up conversations on hearing our accents - offering great tips for local eats and hidden gems to visit. We were so sad to leave and would love to return. I am sure if you book this accommodation you will be pleased with what it has to offer. Thank you Peter and Jed it was a real pleasure. Karen & Mike

Absolutely the Best!!

We had a wonderful time at Jed's Place! The house was perfect! Loved the informational book on how to use everything, where to eat, things to do and places to go. My husband and I now live in Florida but many family members still live in Rhode Island - parent, children, siblings, etc. It was lovely to be able to have a comfortable place for us to also host a small gathering. While we are there I continue to work remotely. The office allowed me to work comfortably. Great desk, excellent office chair, good lighting and the availability of a printer/scanner. The kichen has every convenience for cooking nightly meals. The pots and pans were great quality and there was no utensil that I didn't find when I looked, right down to an ice cream scoop. Coffee maker, toaster and blender were also excellent quality. The two (2) bedrooms were an added bonus so we were able to have a friend, who flew up from FL, stay with us for a couple of days. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows, quality sheets and comforters, good sized closets all made our stay even better than expected. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding; so often one of my biggest complaints. I loved having a washer and dryer available. Last, but by no means least, dealing with Peter, the property manager, was a true pleasure from our original booking until we texted upon check out!! Nice, informative and extremely helpful dealings each and every time!!! We can't wait until next year!!

Staying at Jed's Place

I was impressed by how quickly the hosts Jed and Peter responded to initial and follow up querrys about the house as this is important to me. Although small, the house is absolutely charming and has been completely remodeled inside with modern amenities. I also appreciate that while the house has everything one needs, the personal decorating has been minimized thus providing a very streamlined and modern look. The beds are comfortable and the house is very clean. The neighborhood is so charming and peaceful. Just keep in mind that there is only 1 bathroom so you may need to juggle if staying with 3 or 4 people. I highly recommend this cute place to stay! -Joyce and family

Comfortable, lovely getaway

This is a very clean, updated, comfortable place to stay. The view from the great great room is very pretty. We really appreciated the updated kitchen with high quality appliances. We enjoyed our walks through the peaceful neighborhood. You can walk for miles on roads without much traffic. It was so generously stocked with items from Kleenex, paper towels, soaps etc. Truly a little gem in East Greenwich!

RI native visiting family for Thanksgiving

We live in DC and visited my family for Thanksgiving. My parents’ house was a little crowded so we opted to stay here. It was perfect. Cozy and quiet and a nice respite from lots of family. My wife and I slept comfortably and watched a little Netflix. We’ll be back!

Family Vacation

The property was in a perfect location to visit local family and sight see! The home was extremely clean and a wonderful fit for us (my husband, 2 year old, 8 month old, my mother, and I)! My 2 year old loved playing in the backyard. We also went for many walks around the great neighborhood. Peter responded quickly to any questions and even brought us donuts! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood Jed’s Place is a hidden gem. We had the pleasure of staying there April 11 – April 19, 2019. Great accommodations with every amenity taken care of. HomeAway From Home!

Staying at Jed’s place from November 2018 through February 2019 I can honestly say it became my home away from home. First, the location is fantastic for a number of reasons. It is centrally located in RI with easy access to Routes 95, 4 & 2. A short drive brings you to Providence where there are many cultural events taking place year-round and the fantastic Providence Place Mall. Boston is less than an hour away! Heading in the other direction you can hop the train and be in New York in less than three hours! During the summer months you can head to East Greenwich, Newport and South County to enjoy the Bay and beaches. Second, the house is adorable, warm and inviting - each room is filled with natural light with bedroom accommodatiions for up to four people. The kitchen is large and fully updated with top-of-the-line appliances, including a gas range-my preferred method of cooking. The open concept into the living room allows you to cook and entertain guests simultaneously. The two bedrooms have luxurious mattresses and linens! So wonderful after a busy day to go to bed and sink into the comfort of the bedding and quietness this neighborhood offers. My favorite room was the office! A cozy area to catch up on emails or take care of business. And last, but certainly not least, Jed (Host) and Peter (Guest Host) are fabulous! They are available to provide information or anything else you may need. John, who lives next-door, is the neighbor you wished you lived next-door to your whole life! He is friendly, takes the bins to the street, does all the snow removal, fall clean up & lawn maintenance-and is available if you need him. I left Jed‘s place with mixed emotions, happy to be going home and sad to leave my HomeAway from home…

Why they chose this property

Rhode Island is truly the little known gem of the northeast with all of its waterways, wonderful beaches, rich history, perfect location and, of course, Newport! I purchased this property in 2013 and have totally renovated the interior and modernized its look and feel. For me, the key factors for my purchase included the quiet friendly neighborhood, the easy access to Boston and Manhattan, and the very convenient drive to TF Green International Airport.

What makes this property unique

East Greenwich is all about location. It is essentially at the geographic center of Rhode Island. With a car, travel to any of Rhode Island's many attractions is quick and easy.
