Relax around the fire pit and have coffee on the deck while listening to all the wildlife. Sits on 1 acre surrounded by preserved woods with room to park your RV or boat. Walking/biking distance to shops and restaurants. Only 1-1/2 miles to the boat ramp and village. One mile to Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park. Completely renovated, comfortable cabin-type lodge home. We offer an efficiency kitchen. Mini Fridge, retro fridge, coffee maker, microwave, hot plate & griddle with full sink and BBQ. Enjoy everything the river has to offer by staying just minutes from it all. Fun, Food, Art, Kayaking, fishing, bird watching, and more. 1 queen bed 1 pull-out daybed for 2. Homosassa nightlife is so much fun with bands, bars, and dancing, you can find a hot spot anytime.

The purple armadillo

This is a beautiful cabin fully equipped with everything you need for a great stay. It has several pieces of antique furniture the beauty of which is enhanced by the wood floor. It is very comfortable and close to restaurants and boat launches what else could need.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed the house and it’s color definitely makes it memorable! The back deck was nice and I wished it had been warmer so we could have used the fire pit. A little more road noise than I wanted but it is convenient to everything! The Train Station was our favorite breakfast location.

Nice peaceful warm cottage close to everything! Walked every single day across the street at the RV park. Clean laundrymat and dollar ice machine across the street proved very useful. Cindi and John were awsome to work with.

Very comfortable place to stay

Spacious... comfortable bed... comfortable seating... High Definition TV... wireless internet or direct connect to your computer. Plenty of Heat if needed... Air conditioning... or open the windows and run the ceiling fans. Plenty of room to move around. Easy access to the Highway. Real "old time" Florida away from the congestion. Oak trees... Spanish Moss... Palms... very relaxed atmosphere and the owners are very nice people. Golf... fish... swim with the Manatees... a nice little Zoo 2 minutes away provides an interesting relaxed walk. Restaurants on the River in Old Homosassa 2 minutes away.

Welcome to Old Florida! This charming little cottage site in an area away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. We really enjoyed the convenience of how close to Homassasa were we were going to spend the next few days scalloping. Less than 2 minutes away your choice of great fresh Seafood and Entertainment. It was nice being able to come home every evening with a short drive and comfortable living space. Enjoy!

One of the last little fishing villages hardly touched by commercial business. Mostly mom and pop stores and restaurants. Clean water and abundant wildlife to see. A real place to relax and enjoy
