Kangaroo Retreat is a well-equipped, fully self-contained holiday home approx 3 kms from the town centre of Margaret River. Sleeping a maximum of 6 people, this 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom property is perfect for family getaways.

The main living area is filled with light and space from the huge feature window. Thoughtful consideration has been given to comfort with leather lounge suites, comfortable furniture and quality bedding making "Kangaroo Retreat" is the ideal choice for your Margaret River stay. This property includes a clothes dryer, fireplace, parking, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.

With the pathway that runs from Margaret River to the beach, you may like to consider going for an invigorating walk or bike ride. Kangaroos grazing in the paddock are a common sight on this property. Nearby there is a bike track and walkway that will lead you either into town or to the beach at Prevelly.

Margaret River chocolate factory, world class wineries and breweries so close to the coast, beaches, fine dining and fresh produce side by side, Karri forest and many beautiful caves, walking and cycle paths, cheese factories, hiking, 4WDriving, kayaking, art galleries.

Central to everything

The property suited our Margaret River getaway perfectly. We were 2 x couples and the house had all that we needed and the open fire certainly was a welcomed treat at the end of each day. Certainly need it during the colder months as the absence of window coverings in the main part of the house does throw a lot of coldness off the windows. Just meant that we kept the fire roaring which was easy with ample firewood in supply. Facilities were great and the local wildlife visiting (kangaroos, frogs and birds) was an added bonus. Would not hesitate to stay again. If booking, just note that bedding is not included in the rate, but can be arranged at an additional cost. Located a very easy walk to Cape Mentelle winery which is well worth a visit.
