About this property

Kevill Cottage, Margaret River

3 bedrooms , one with ensuite bathroom. A large Family bathroom with shower and separate bath. 2 separate toilets. There is also an outside shower with hot water. Well equipped kitchen, huge living area, and wide verandahs. There is a large loft that is suitable for school age children (but not in the middle of Summer)
This home will easily and comfortably accommodate 6 adults
The home is set in 8 acres ( 3 hectares ) of Jarrah/Marri bush with abundant local flora and a family of kangaroos.
Margaret River township with its many cafes and eating places is 3 Km away and an pleasant walk. Wineries, swimming and surfing beaches and many tourist attractions are nearby.
The bushland setting means that the home retains privacy and a sense of being in the forest whilst being very convenient to town, beaches and wineries.
A very comfortable home in a great location.
This is not a "party" house. We have neighbours who appreciate their tranquility too.
Excessive numbers of people and noise are not welcome.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful home on a big property which the kids loved to explore. Also a great location nice and quiet and only 5 minutes from town. Excellent friendly communication from the hosts. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Kevill Cottage. Property is just as described, we were very impressed with how well equipped the house is. Everything you could want in the kitchen, and rooms to ensure a relaxing and stress free stay. It was tranquil, and peaceful. We came with our 5 year old and 9 month old, and had a lovely family holiday. We will hopefully return again next year!

This is our second stay at Kevill Cottage this year. It continues to be a warm, comfortable, well maintained property. We enjoyed the wood burning stove on chilly days. The surrounding area is so peaceful. You can see lots of Roos on the paddock 10 minute walk from the house. We will be back for another stay!

Kevill Cottage exceeded our expectations, the bushland setting gave us the peace and serenity which we were seeķing. The cottage is fitted out with every requirement which a familly needs for a stay of a few days or an extended stay. It's close proximity to Margaret River township, the beaches and wineries must make it the number one holiday rental in the area. We feel that Kay and Rod have hit the sweet spot with Keville Cottage.

Incredible stay

We had such an amazing stay. Tbe house is absolutely perfect. Location is fantastic, so private and beautiful but only a couple of minutes from town. The table tennis table was so much fun! Loved the fireplace and cosy couches. The bed and bedding were also so comfy. Thanks so much for having us. Will definitely stay again

An excellent stay with everything you could want and need in a property. The home was clean, well equipped, comfortable and situated in a beautiful, peaceful location - with just a short drive to town. We even enjoyed daily visits from kangaroos! The indoor fireplace kept the house cozy upon our arrival, and the kids absolutely loved the upstairs loft. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we’ll definitely be back!

Best place to stay in Margaret River

We love staying at Kevill Cottage. The location is amazing , close to town and beach but so peaceful, surrounded by trees on a large block. The living areas and bedrooms are spacious and the layout accommodates extended families. Kevill Cottage is always my families first choice when we travel to Margaret River and we are looking forward to our next stay.
