We stayed 5 nights at Pilotage 3 and found the apartment perfect for our needs. Spacious with everything you need for a self-contained holiday stay. Excellent quality appliances. A home away from home.

Disillusioned

Booked an apartment with quote “ocean Views”. They didn’t exist no matter how far you leant over the balcony - such views did not exist. No mention was made the apartment was over an Indian restaurant with it’s accompanying pungent smells AND noise at night. My wife suffered an electric shock whilst attempting to raise blinds that needed a gadget finally discovered - by chance in a draw. It only opened 2 blinds and we never did find a way of opening the third. Hopeless management who failed, in our opinion, by misrepresentation and a failure to familiarise documentation to enable a smooth arrival. Not good. Completely unimpressed and I might add, the poorest we have ever experienced in years, decades of travel. Too willing , if asked , to provide a video of the balcony view.

Hi Tony, We have never had a guest unable to open the blinds with the remote (two of them there and both were working), nor complain about the Indian tapas bar at the front of the building in my nine years of managing the property, your failure to open the blinds was user error, but had we received a call we would have happily helped you out. I did see that an oleander has grown next door which does block ocean views from one end of the verandah but not the other side of the verandah. Pilotage 3 is one of our most popular holiday rentals and your complaints are not genuine, We actually had complaints from our after hours call out numbers about your behaviour and attitude. I do remember this was a last minute booking and we went out of our way to accommodate you and make your check in easy even though you were unsure how to proceed with completing the documents. On The Hill Yamba

This property was in an excellent position “on the hill” close to restaurants and the Yamba hotel only one minute walk away with views to die for. You need to be fit if you walk down into town and the beaches because that walk up the hill is a killer! The property was modern, clean and well equipped for any kind of dining whether it be cooking in or eating on the balcony with your bbq or easy take away. Secure parking. Would definitely stay there again or recommend 👍
