Had a great stay at Peter's cabin, ample space for 3 families and the treehouse was a wonderful spot for the kids. The only negative I would say is we had some issues with temperature controls in the rooms (possibly partly due to all the windows) and the towels in the bathrooms were very small. Overall a great weekend and we would definitely return!

The space inside was wonderful! Several of us commented on it. We had a total of 14. Grandchildren and adults really enjoyed the firepit. Peter answered any questions we had quickly. The view! Wow! We realized how close we were to Skytop Orchard, which we go to when we are in thr area. A must with children!

Wonderful Family Retreat

We enjoyed this house so much! There was room for everyone to eat together and hang out in the living areas, and also room enough for everyone to have privacy at bedtime. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we loved using the fire pit at night. Terrific location — easy trip to Flat Rock and Hendersonville. We hope to stay here again!

Perfect mountain spot

House was perfect for our family! Plenty of space, kitchen is well equipped and fire pit was a hit! Our kids loved making smores and sitting outside by the fire. Great mountain getaway

We went for the apple festival in Hendersonville so the area was pretty busy. Loved the house with plenty of room to spread out as well as hang out together in the den and dining room. Kids loved the tree house. Definitely try gem mining and apple picking nearby.

We lucked out with fabulous weather and the views from this house with the fall leaves were breathtaking. The house had everything we could want, plenty of amenities. Lots of room, would be a great place for group with kids. We loved the fire pit. But bring a head lamp, walking to the firepit at night was challenging.

Fun Family Time in Flat Rock

Peter's spacious and beautiful mountain home was a perfect space for gathering together with our adult children and young grandchildren! From peaceful mornings with coffee on the screened porch to cozy family dinners around the table to plenty of room for games and chasing toddlers, we enjoyed a wonderful getaway. It also worked really well for hosting a small family gathering to celebrate our son and future daughter-in-law's engagement. So convenient to restaurants and stores in Flat Rock. We hope to return another time in the future!
