Comfortable property with short stroll to the beach and shops
The house gets hot on warm days with no Aircon it can be uncomfortable
Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would help a lot, also needs Wi-Fi, come on people don’t be stingy

Not for young families in Summer
Positives- The house was quite clean and the location amazing. Large backyard which also allowed for pets.
Negatives- While we knew there was no aircon we went ahead with booking as property manager assured us that even in hot weather, the windows allow the sea breeze to flow through and cool the house down. This was not the case! The house became a hot box for 2 days during the heat. While there are many windows, they are the wind out ones that barely open! We have 2 young babies so would never have gone ahead with booking had we known we would swelter. Also be aware, all bedrooms run off main open plan living space so hard if young children/babies sleeping throughout the day. Also the website states 2 queen beds but one is definitely a double and possibly the second one is as well. Overall sadly we would not return to stay.

Disappointing- left early. Fine for short stay only.
Booked 8 nights, only lasted 6. Below what was expected from photos.
-Looks like 2 levels- but is only upper floor. As such all three bedrooms are directly off the only living area. There’s no passage way- so if you have different bedtimes, house doesn’t work.
Bunks noisy.
House poorly insulated - cold and noisy (? rodents in under house space) overnight. Even when we bang on the floor boards where they were loudest they only stopped briefly.
No drier, owner declined to supply a clothes horse when this was raised. There’s a washing line outside but it’s not undercover. Due to rain we had to hang everyone’s gear inside on the furniture. In the one shared living space.
Request pets outside but gate has no latch so be aware it’s not secure.
No WiFi. If WFH / learning online as we were, you need to factor in additional data costs/speed issues. Invy Library (which is fantastic!) has free WiFi but limited opening hours. (WiFi wasn’t advertised, but in the last 5 years we haven’t encountered this issue at other Inverloch properties in this price bracket so please be aware).
One tv, no streaming.
Great location for two nights and if you all sleep at the same time, it could work. Go elsewhere for an extended stay.
Our usual homes were booked up.
Owners sadly not responsive to our complaints. No compensation for early departure even though advised by second day when we realised we’d be too tired, too limited with connectivity issues, and sick of seeing our washing everywhere.
*Real estate agent was helpful and apologetic. Said they took our issues to the owner. Directed us to library and laundromat and did request compensation for early departure which wasn’t forthcoming.
Fantastic location, but some furniture may need to be upgraded
This property is at fantastic location. It is in the center of town, but on quiet street, and walk to the beach. So it is very convenient.
Spacious kitchen and living area, which provides good entertainment areas for family stay. The owner also provides various kitchen accessories, which are very handy to prepare family meals.
Apart from good side, I would suggest owner may need to upgrade some furniture, specially beds in 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Because beds in these bedrooms make too much noise.
Overall, it is a nice place to stay!
Loved not having to get in the car at all- Such a quick walk to the beach and the Main Street. The backyard was secure for our dog and the place was very comfortable and warm in the middle of winter. No air con wasn’t an issue for us, did notice the lack of a dishwasher but with 5 people it wasn’t a problem- good to let our teenager learn about dishwashing. Would def stay again.
