This home is 5 miles from the Canaan Valley Resort and Ski Area. Whitegrass Cross Country Skiing is 5.5 miles away. We cannot control weather and skiing conditions.







Canaan Valley, truly the mid-Atlantics playground, is nestled in the scenic Hills of West Virginia, and boasts world-class skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting and fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and golfing. With easy access to National Forest Lands, Wildlife Refuge, Wilderness areas, and two State Parks, explore the endless possibilities here. Your family will enjoy our quaint mountain towns and shop or browse in our many antique, gift and specialty shops or enjoy some fairs and festivals.







Tucker County has 4 breathtaking seasons to enjoy. In the winter, we pick up much of our annual 150 snowfall from the Great Lakes whenever strong Northwesterly winds drop out of Canada. Spring brings some of the best hunting and fishing, and wildflowers. Escape the heat of summer where temperatures rarely exceed the mid 80s. Autumn brings cool temperatures and blazing colors of our extensive hardwood forests.

The house was well equiped and in a nice neighborhood.

We spent several days hiking in each of the local parks/wilderness areas. I'm not sure the air conditioning ever worked but it was so pleasant at night that we didn't need it.

We love this cabin.

We love this cabin. Floorplan is open and spacious and the loft area is a great place for kids to hangout. The large windows give a lovely view of being nestled in the trees. The gas fireplace offers convenient coziness. It's so nice to go right out the front door for walks with our dog. We have rented this cabin 3 times over the years and always look forward to returning. Happy to see some upgrades, new furniture is nice. Friendly and efficient.

The gas fireplace was especially nice and kept the home warm and cozy. Loved the windows that allowed us to look out at the beautiful fall colors. Emails were sent out timely with instructions. That part was great. Never received a reply to my email asking some pertinent questions but when I actually called the office, the ladies were very kind and helpful.
