Tucked away in a private, gated community in stunning Canaan Valley, White Deer offers the perfect blend of rustic charm, comfort, and outdoor adventure. This single-level cabin sleeps up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, making it ideal for families, couples, or small groups seeking a peaceful mountain retreat.







Step outside to truly unwind—soak in the private outdoor hot tub, fire up the gas grill, and enjoy starry skies and mountain air. White Deer is dog-friendly, so bring your furry companion along for the adventure!







OLD TIMBERLINE - 



A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.







You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.

The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was one of the most peaceful and relaxing vacations we have had. The staff communicated well and were friendly. We hope to return someday.

Good value for a decent place

Only issue was a lack of some basic essentials we didn't realize we'd need (hand soap, garbage bags, laundry detergent) but overall an enjoyable stay with no major complaints.

Peaceful Weekend Get Away

White deer it's centrally located in old Tmberline. There are plenty of opportunities to explore nature. White Deer is private surroundings to enjoy the hot tub under the stars. If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature this is the place. This was our second time staying there.

Very nice place. Very clean...felt very secluded. Perfect for a couple or smaller family. Becky is wonderful each an every time. I come down once a year with a very large family and once or twice with just my husband and myself,and she is always so helpful in suggesting which houses are best. Also very friendly. The place was not very clean and showers didnt have much pressure and not much hot water outside was growed up not veryer kid friendly the front porch has places in it that is dangerous boards are rotating out

The property was as described and very comfortable for our two families to share. Our two boys used the dresser the twin room and said that the bottom drawer was broken - they couldn't push it in or out. Also, we could not figure out how to get the DVD player to work. We kept trying different Inputs with the remote but the TV would not register the DVD player so we watched Netflix instead. This was a great location that we would consider renting again.

Was a great experience, we will be returning. We were surprised to find a "hot tub" on the property - we enjoyed relaxing in the tub. Also was nice to see all the board game selection the property had - the kids had some old fashion fun! :) I didn't get to talk to much with people but , the times we did, very helpful and nice.
