The Manatee Home, recently remodeled, is a spacious waterfront home with a private pool located in the popular Sunset Beach neighborhood of Treasure Island. Your family will fall in love with the recent updates including a fully remodeled kitchen as well as fresh paint, flooring and furnishings throughout the entire home. The pool and patio are located on the bank of the Intracoastal Waterway (Boca Ciega Bay), along with a fishing dock for your use. You have a great view of water activities and wild life as you relax by the pool - heating is optional. Plus, if you want to go to the beach, it is less than 1-block away. This home features an open floor plan. The open kitchen is fully equipped, washer/dryer, 2-car garage, free Internet access and 3 TV's will make your vacation even better. This is a perfect spot for a beach getaway.

We recommend you add pool heat between November and the end of April (optional $150/week).

Best vacation in 25 years

The home was exactly as pictured. All the furnishings looked brand new and the home was very spacious. The view from the patio was stunning looking at the Intercoastal where Henrietta the great blue heron visited us on the dock several times. Mandy, the white egret came almost every day. The dolphins also visited several times a day. The pool was clean, heated, and refreshing. The neighborhood was delightfully quiet, but easily accessible to both Caddy’s Grill and the Kai-Tiki for the 3$ cheeseburgers. The beach access was just across the parking lot in the front yard for watching the sunsets. After only being there 2 days, I already booked it for a month again next year. The accessibility to the bars, restaurants, and venues from St. Pete Beach and north to Clearwater is perfect. The gas grill was also a bonus. I’ve traveled to the gulf coast for 25 years and this is my favorite.

Best Last Hurrah

Three spacious bedrooms, beautiful kitchen, large dining table for eating and puzzles, magnificent patio with pool, on the Intercoastal Waterway looking at dolphins and boats and jet skis. Several blue herons annd egrets visited us on our patio every day for hours, then pooped annd left. Out the front and across a small parking lot was The Gulf for swimming, boogie boarding, skim boarding and watching sunsets. As we are getting old, this was our final month long trip to Florida. We had a revolving door of people every week, all women ranging in age from 46 to 78 with one lone 9 year old grandson for a week who loved being surrounded by women. He was spoiled rotten. It was the the most wonderful and amazing end to our 25 years of coming to Florida. We hit all our favorite watering holes and restaurants. The beach walks in the morning and around the neighborhood were exciting just looking at the water and all the various architecture of the houses and spending time at the dog beach. Best Location in the Nation and a beach bar 1/4 mile away serving 3 dollar cheeseburgers all day every day. What could be better than that!

Dolphins swimming under the dock, cranes, ducks, all types of birds sitting on the dock and in the pool were a joy watch. My grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the openness of the floor plan. Everyone had such a great time with the beach across the street that it was hard to lack up and come home.

Daily walks to the Caddy Shack was a highlight.The Resort Rental people were awesome and always available if we had a question. We would definitely come back.

It left nothing to be desired. The pool is clean and refreshing, it was maintained and cleaned weekly. From the fishing dock we could watch dolphins and manatees every day.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we had a lovely 3 weeks vacation in this home and have been coming here for many years. I feel that it is very expensive for what it is, the location is great but the house is just a little small and to have to pay for the whole month is just too expensive now as we only stay for 2-3 weeks. resort rentals were wonderful and had maintenance staff out asap. there was just lots of small thing ie the house was for 6 people and there are only 2 sunbeds which were damaged and could not be used they were replaced but not until a few days before we left to come home.
