Spectacular Views!! 1.5 miles from Eastsound

Cozy furnished studio apartment with an amazing water view up the Georgia Straight and memorable sunsets. Kitchen, full bathroom, Queen size bed & TV. Deck, private entrance.

Located in woods up steep, gravel road. Studio is attached to our home.

Three night minimum. On occasion we have two nights available, feel free to message me!
Right now as of 6/5/25 , the two nights we have open are:
Jun 20, 21, checking out the 22 by 11am
July 11, 12, checking out the 13th by 11am
August 20, 21, checking out the 22nd by 11am
September 4, 5, checking out the 6th by 11am

A wonderful, rustic hideaway on a magical island.

Charming, studio apartment with large deck, breath-taking views of the shipping lanes and Canada. The views don't stop at night--we have star gazing galore on a clear nite. And you can see the lights of Vancouver from the deck.


No pets please!


The biggest feedback we get is that the pictures of the view don’t do it justice!

Best Stay in Orcas

Super cute studio on the best part of the island with views for days. We chose this same place every year we come… clean, Comfortable, and great owners. Love love love it here!

Peace and Tranquility!

This is our fourth year staying at the Robin Song retreat! Vicki is the perfect hostess and sees to it that your stay is nothing short of perfect. The sunset views from the deck every night are spectacular! The apartment is cozy, clean and well stocked. We look forward to returning to this haven next year!!

July 4th at Orcas

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights over the 4th of July. Great experience. Hosts are very friendly. Property was clean and has beautiful views. Driveway is very steep, but you get used to it after a few trips up and down

Lovely studio with an amazing view

The view here is amazing! Photos nearly do not do enough justice. The place is well equipped with pretty much anything you could need including a gas grill. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wow! is too small a word for this special place

What an amazing place! We feel so fortunate to have been able to share a bit of Vicki and Dan's little slice of heaven. We loved everything about the apartment, which had everything we needed, and more! Vicki is a warm and wonderful host, and we love the eclectic style she brings to her home decor. The views from the deck are truly breathtaking, and we miss them already. We hope to be back to Robin Song soon!

Wonderful Stay on Orcas Island

Lovely, clean little studio with million dollar views. Robin Song is a great get away with all the basics for an island stay. The semi-private deck offers some of the best views we saw on the island. Vicki is a wonderful host who made sure all the details were in place and that we had what we needed. Perfect for a couple looking to relax for a few days.

The weather did not cooperate. Beautiful perch. Lighting a bit dim. Basically a large room w a loft and a great deck. With rain we were confined and could not fully appreciate an amazing view. It does sleep 3 but one adult needs to be up and 8 ft latter w minimal privacy. Host was helpful.

Very Relaxing

The studio is very comfortable, well equipped and the view from the deck is exceptional. We could not have been happier with the set up. Be aware the access road is very steep and there are two flights of steps to the door.

Lovely Retreat

My husband and I spent two nights in this lovely, secluded retreat. I appreciated that it had it's own private entrance and deck, washer and dryer, flower pots galore with blooming flowers and large windows with an incredible view. The furnishings and artistic decor create a comfy and calming ambiance that I wish I could repeat in my own home. Great hosts who were very responsive concerning any needs and obviously work hard to keep the place scrupulously clean. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back!

5-Star Views!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bird Song! We had a couple days of rain and wind but we just hunkered down and enjoyed the views from inside. Even though the suite is attached to the main house it felt very private with our own entrance and deck area. We enjoyed great restaurants, cafes, shopping, hiking and wine tasting during our 4 day stay. Vicki even shared her garden with us so we got to pick some apples and tomatoes and beets for one of our dinners in (with take out pizza from Hogstone) We will definitely stay at Bird Song again!

Clean, well maintained, quiet, with awesome view...

Vicki was an exceptional host. She met us at the property, gave us an orientation of the area, and invited us to contact her anytime during our stay with questions, concerns, and/or needs. The room had lots of info about the area as far as food, activities, etc. We loved the studio. It met our needs perfectly. The new deck has amazing views with plenty of privacy. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives without hesitation. We can't wait to return.

Perfect for Two

This cute cottage-like rental was perfect for my husband and me. We spent most of our time there on the deck, enjoying the morning fresh air or the spectacularly beautiful sunsets. Whether we were drinking coffee, tea, or a spirited beverage, the adirondack chairs were the right fit. As most people have stated, Vicki was extremely pleasant in introducing us to the island, providing us with cinnamon bread, which I made into French Toast with the cream and eggs she gave us. We visited several of her favorite restaurants and were not disappointed. The only improvement that I would recommend is a firmer mattress, as my husband felt as though he was rolling into the center of the bed. Other than that, I would definitely recommend a stay at Robin Song Retreat.

Best Weekend Retreat ever!

The pictures just don’t do it justice. Dan and Vicki have thought of everything and had everything you need in a little bungalow tucked away in the woods with a view straight up the Strait. We went out for a couple bites and some fresh air, but mostly it was cooking in and lounging on the amazing deck or even taking in the views from the room/bed. I don’t know about walking to town like others have said.. but then I’m not much of a hiker :). I think the hill would have killed me. But just a couple minute drive for sure. Thank you so much for having us!!

Beautiful View, Great Place to Stay and affordable

Wow, awesome, amazing, beautiful view and wonderfully clean cottage, everything in the description that it describes. I can keep on going with the adjectives to describe the beauty of this place and the view. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and the deck was decorated with beautiful flowers. Vicki welcomed us that afternoon and gave us great suggestions as to what to do on the island. We grilled almost every evening so we can sit on the deck and enjoy the view and the deer that would come very close to feed on the grass. We would drink coffee in the mornings on the deck in the comfortable new (looked new)patio chairs. My husband said that if we make our way back here, that this is where we would be staying. The price is very affordable. My only recommendation is that the deck needed a patio table to sit and eat at because once again, the view is so beautiful, why would you want to be inside. Thank you Vicki and Dan for sharing your lovely home. We also rented bikes from their bike shop in town. Blessings till we make a trip back to Washington to visit our son.

Gorgeous Views

We had a lovely stay at the Robin Song Studio - all the other reviews that state the pictures don't adequately represent the view are true. The views are breathtaking, and the studio was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and private. We would absolutely stay here again, and Vicki and Dan are marvelous hosts!

I love hiking, gardening, decorating with an extra passion for vintage lamps. Dan and I own the local bicycle shop on Orcas called Wildlife Cycles.

We love our home and it's a real pleasure to share this special spot with others. We have been so fortunate to host wonderful people here over the past 9 years.

Why they chose this property

We looked for six years and fell in love with this home immediately!. It has big timbers, stained glass, tall ceilings and an amazing view! Was extra perfect since it had a fully functional private space attached to the house. We are about 400' up the side of Buck Mountain. It's very private here. Love the birds, the deer and occasional Owl.

The view never gets tiring.

What makes this property unique

Sitting on the deck is so relaxing. And from the bed in the studio you can enjoy the water view. We are on a little over 9 acres. and although private, we are just 1 1/2 miles from town.
