What a wonderful place to stay. A real home from home experience with everything you could possibly wish for. Very clean and tidy and James our host always on hand and very friendly. We could not fault the villa, its location and the amenities. Even had a sea view. Wonderful 6 weeks with our two dogs.

Great host

We'll a perfect family holiday, thank you James! To those thinking of visiting, James had gone out of his way to ensure Villa Ra has all you need (and he steered us in the right direction for a great meal out). Best equipped kitchen in a holiday villa we've stayed in and a lovely pool.

Overall an enjoyable stay in Villa Ra

The location is perfect as well as the vue, large terrace and inside the house is plenty of space for five people and a dog. Moreover the weather was very good. The owner provided adequate assistance when needed.

Gorgeous Villa

As pretty as in the pictures, very well equipped and not overlooked. Great pool and peaceful area. Definitely recommend a car. James was an attentive and friendly host.

Everything one could ask for.

A really enjoyable place to stay. The casa is really well equipped and the kitchen had so many utensils and facilities, which was great as we ate in of an evening mostly. A lovely pool, gardens and vista which provides immediate relaxation. James was very helpful and always on hand and full of local information. Many Thanks

Very nice vacation!!!

Villa Ra is a very nice house in a great area. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Very good and quick contact with James, the directions were perfect and key handover was easy. The villa is very well located, shopping nearby, many very good restaurants and great excursion options. It was also easy to walk to the sea. We felt very comfortable and can recommend Villa Ra to everyone.

The villa is in a very quiet location and enjoys the sun from first light to sunset. A very pleasant and well maintained villa and grounds. The pool is not ideal for serious swimmers but great for young children as the shallow area is safe for them. Well equipped kitchen and extensive internal layout for when it rains

Absolutely fantastic house

It is a very nice house with all the equipment you need. The internet works fine and the pool and the view are beautiful. It is quiet and peaceful and it is easy to get down to the sea, but you must have a car. Shopping and restaurants are not far away. There are many excursion possibilities near the house. we had a lovely 14 days in the house in March with lots of sun and spring.

Very comfortable and relaxing week. Villa is located in a very peaceful area with nice views of the sea and Moraira hillside. Property is well equipped and well maintained including the pool which was spotless and very inviting. Easy reach by car to local shops, Moraira and Calpe. Would be happy to come here again. Sunny Villa Ra!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Ra! The Villa is just wonderful. The host has thought of everything and I really do mean everything, it is the best equipped Villa we have stayed at. Our boys loved the pool and would have spent every minute in it if we hadn’t have wanted to visit the many beautiful beaches. They made us promise to get them back to the pool by 2pm every day! The air con in the bedrooms was a godsend too! I believe the host makes improvements to this amazing villa every year, although we cannot see anything that needs improving. Fantastic holiday.

Hi Zita, Thanks for your lovely review! I do try! You pay for a dream holiday and it's my responsibility to provide it. You may have noticed half a dozen tiny tiles missing around the drain in the floor of the pool. These were replaced today by a scuba diver mate!

Excellent winter stay

We had a superb 7 week stay at Villa Ra. The property is very well equipped and in an excellent location, very quiet and only a short way to the beach or shops to the South, with great access to the motorway or mountains to the North out of Benissa. We soon felt very settled and comfortable here. It was an excellent place for our dog as well. We were unlucky with the weather, it being much colder than usual, so were grateful for the property having a decent central heating system. Being south facing it soon got warm inside with the doors open on a sunny day, and being so sheltered it was a sun trap sitting out by the pool, but the water was too chilly to take a dip!

Very pleasant

Nice villa. Stayed here for four weeks. Entrance was a bit of an issue. Owner very friendly and helpful. Neighborhood nice and quiet except for the occasional leaf blowers by local gardening. I wish those apparatuses would be banned worldwide. The pool is not heated but the owner was working on a system that would take care of that. All in all very recommended.

james est un hote très accueillant et disponible. La maison est top, avec tout ce qu'il faut en terme d'équipements, avec une piscine adaptée même pour les plus petits et bien située au calme proche du centre ville. Peu de vis-a-vis (ce qui n'est pas le cas des maisons aux alentours).

De villa was echt geweldig, heerlijke bedden, een prachtig zwembad, ruimte terrassen, prachtige tuin met fruitbomen, Hebben heerlijk kunnen genieten van de citroenen die van de boom afvielen. Alles was aanwezig voor een prachtige vakantie. De keuken zeer uitgebreid met alles er op en eraan. Toch geven wij het geen 10. De reden is dat vlak voor de ingang van de villa, op ongeveer 15 meter afstand, een nieuwe villa in aanbouw is. Wij hebben hier zeker 3 weken heel veel last van gehad. Veel komen en aan gaan vrachtauto's, veel bouwwerkzaamheden, zagen, hakken, boor/dril werkzaamheden, onrustige werklui met soms 3 man maar ook soms met 10 tegelijkertijd. Radio hard aan maar een aantal keer gevraagd zachter te zetten waar wel gehoor aan werd gegeven. Wij hebben de eigenaar hierop aangesproken, in de omschrijving staat een rustige woonomgeving maar dat was hier duidelijk niet van toepassing. Erg jammer!! Als antwoord kregen wij dat de villa allang klaar had moeten zijn en dat dit helaas niet het geval was. 14 dagen voor onze aankomst is er nog contact geweest en hebben wij gevraagd of er nog problemen waren, hierop is niet gereageerd. Wij hebben de aannemer gesproken en deze gaf aan dat de oplevering in juni gaat plaatsvinden en alles volgens schema verliep. De waarheid zal ergens in het midden liggen. Indien wij tijdig dit hadden geweten dan hadden wij kunnen wij zelf de keuze kunnen maken of doorgaan of annuleren, nu heeft de eigenaar deze beslissing voor ons genomen.Jammer!

Très belle maison bien située dans un quartier ultra résidentiel, calme et propre, très bien équipée. La piscine est superbe et nous avons profité de la vue mer très agréable.La maison ne manque de rien, le rdc s’ouvre presque entièrement permettant ainsi de faire des courants d’air efficaces en cas de grosses chaleurs.Les chambres sont toutes équipées d’une climatisation très bienvenue en période de canicule.James a été très sympathique et réactif, nous a conseillé de bonnes adresses et a facilité au mieux notre séjour.L’emplacement de la maison (comme la plupart dans la région) nécessite d’avoir une voiture, mais les petits centre-villes sont rapidement accessibles et plusieurs supermarchés se trouvent à 10 et 15mn de la maison.Nous recommandons !

Villa Ra

Heel mooi villa, in een prachtige setting met heel veel privacy. Je kunt genieten van de zon vanaf opkomst tot ondergang. Een snellere wifi verbinding en een verwarmd zwembad liggen in de planning om te worden aangepakt. Een mooie toevoeging! Procedure boeking verliep ook heel goed. James kon al mijn vragen snel en goed beantwoorden.

Quand vous arrivez, vous êtes surpris par l'endroit; un endroit calme, magique, bien ensoleillé dès 10h et ce toute la journée. seul soucis: vous avez besoin de la voiture tout le temps ou alors vous avez de très bonnes jambes, ça monte et ça descend tout le temps ! Moraira est une ville accueillante ainsi que Calpe, Les restaurants sont très bien (surtout le restaurant asiatique la casa Lili à Teulada)
