This is my beach/surf house, and I'm excited to share it with you!

ā˜… You will NOT share the property with anyone else during your stay. It's all yours! (Other homes listed in area sometimes have the owner staying on-premise in a small apartment, or trailer, in the backyard.)

ā˜… We are proud to pay our cleaners a living wage. Your cleaning fee goes directly to a local, family owned, professional cleaning company. They provide a top to bottom cleaning of the entire house, along with linen service, after EVERY reservation.

ā€¢ Located in Avon by the Sea at Cocoa Beach - just 500 meters (1/4 mile) from the Atlantic.

ā€¢ Recently updated with NEW furniture, beds, appliances, landscaping, and more!

ā€¢ Please review all the photos and reach out with any questions you might have.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Beach gear is washed with fresh water and returned to the shed, and locked. Beach towels and beach blankets are washed, folded, and returned to hall closet.

Dirty bath towels placed in the laundry basket in hall closet.

All dishes are clean and returned where they belong.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

ā˜… If you are a new, you must have your accounts verified at the time of booking. We will also ask that you provide more information about your group.

The house was exactly as depicted. Patio had newer furniture than pictured. The back yard was huge. It was clean and had everything we needed. Host was easy to communicate with. We only used the cooler but there were also beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toysā€¦everything youā€™d want for a day at the beach. The house was in a great location. Nice quiet neighborhood. Only a couple blocks from the beach in one direction and couple blocks from the main road in the other. Would definitely stay here again.

Host did not get in touch with me until less than 7 hrs before my flight, so I had no instructions or code to enter the property. VRBO and myself both tried to call the host with no success. VRBO cancelled my reservation at the last minute and found me a replacement rental at the last minute (literally!) for the same cost.

Walt - We apologize for not sending the check-in instructions further in advance. That was our mistake, and we take responsibility. The issue stemmed from a recent deployment of a new check-in management process that unfortunately introduced some regression issues. When I reached you the night before arrival, I immediately owned the error, explained the situation, and promptly provided the access code and instructions. I was prepared to offer two complimentary nights on a future stay as a goodwill gesture, but you insisted on making the conversation quite uncomfortable before I could extend that. At your request, VRBO canceled the reservation and secured a comparable property for you at the same rate. Given the context I shared with you, our strong track record of positive reviews, and the resolution reached, it's disappointing to read your negative review. That said, we hope you enjoyed your time in Cocoa Beach and that youā€™ll continue to visit the area.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in March. The house is very comfortable and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the large outdoor patio and private back yard. It is a short walk to the beach. I would stay again.

Spring Getaway

Our stay at Basecamp was most enjoyable with it being a very relaxing space. The beds were comfortable, it was clean and plenty big for our needs, it was nicely appointed with some extras to make it feel more like home, the location was very convenient to all of our primary activities, the owners were responsive and very friendly and we spent a lot of time at the table on the outdoor patio with it being a very serene place to spend our evenings. Basecamp was a wonderful fit for my family and I. Thanks so much, Brandon and Morgan, for making our Cocoa Beach vacation so positively memorable.

Recently I bought this house for my friends and I to call 'Basecamp' when we're in the area surfing and working (photography/media/travel). We are from all over the world, but Cocoa Beach is one of our favorite places to rendezvous.

I've worked hard to make this happen and take great pride in providing a clean house with updated furnishings with modern touches. To me, travel accommodations are not just a place to sleep but a place you enjoy coming back to after a day of exploring.
