Snuggle up by the fireplace or relax in the hot tub, surrounded by woods and a stream on a real working farm. This genuine log cabin is located just five minutes from Interstate 77, tucked away in the foothills of North Carolina's Yadkin Valley Wine Region.
Guests soak up modern day luxuries while returning to a simpler time by enjoying rocking chairs or a swing on a front porch, while planning the next days' adventure. Visit Mayberry, Stone Mountain, Pilot Knob, or even the filming sight of The Longest Ride. Other attractions include numerous wineries and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent restaurants in the area combine great food and unique experiences. Many antique stores are available for "treasure seekers" in nearby Elkin, Mount Airy, Dobson, Pilot Mountain, and Fairview.
Fall brings colorful mountain views, the Autumn Leaves Festival (approximately 200,000 visitors) in Mount Airy and twice a year (Memorial Day and Labor Day) a huge "Hillsville, Virginia Flea Market"(enticing more than 500,000 people to the area).

We really enjoyed our stay while visiting Mayberry Days in Mt. Airy. Very clean with plenty of privacy. Took a try or two to figure out how to increase the Hot Tub temperature, mainly because we arrived back after dark to use it. Peaceful setting, and I got a kick out of my Wife looking out across the driveway first thing in the morning at the audience of cows.Thank you for the great place to stay.

The place was excellent and 95% perfect for what we needed.The other 5% you ask, the bed is sooooo soft. Too soft in our opinion.If you like a very soft bed, this place is for you.

This place is a paradise hide away. I was blown away by how wonderfully serene and peaceful it was. The cozy cabin is like.coming home. The decor is absolutely stunning. The hot tub is.the perfect relaxing end to the day. I will come here again as soon as possible.

Absolutely loved staying here, we will definitely be back. The host had so many comforting details that made it feel like home. We appreciated all of the amenities and seeing the families history reflected throughout the home. While brief, we really enjoyed our time.

We absolutely loved this delightful cabin. It is the best laid out, decorated, situated, cabin we have stayed in. We would visit again. The literature prepared by the owners was so helpful for local restaurants, places to see, etc. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the cabin’s hostess. We used the hot tub twice and it was very enjoyable. This time of year the fireplace was not needed, but it is lovely. We highly recommend it! Ron and Catherine
