This roomy and comfortable home was nearby for our family reunion at the lake. My family members were thrilled with the ease of the location. Great that all bedrooms have a bathroom!
We hope to rent again next year and highly recommend.
Great for a large group. We had 12 for Thanksgiving. Well furnished with plenty of essentials. Did not have time to enjoy the lake but looked very inviting.
We have rented this beautiful property many times over the last several years. My family and I have enjoyed each and every stay. The lake home is beautiful and is always perfect for my family. Lauren is wonderful to work with, and her property manager, PJ, made check-in and check-out a breeze. We look forward to our next trip here in the future.😊
This was a special surprise birthday for my wife, myself and her too daughters and six grandchildren spent three months planning it and finding the best location we could and we found it. We had a great three day celebration and couldn’t have done it without the convenient and perfect location had a great time.
The house was very clean, very roomy, and had all the amenities we needed! Any question or problem was quickly answered or addressed by the property manager. The AC did not work properly upstairs the first couple of nights but the night temperatures got down low enough that those sleeping there were comfortable. And a repairman came and it worked well the rest of our stay!
This house was perfect for our large family which ranged in age from 1 to 92. The house was large having 3 stories with plenty of bedrooms and baths. The kitchen was well stocked which is great since we mostly cooked our meals. We did enjoy the Bleu Canoe which is right around the corner with great food. It was cold so we spent a lot of time playing games, doing puzzles and watching college football. We did do several hikes and went to Helen one day and Clayton another. I would recommend stocking up on food before you go because the closest grocery store is about 30 minutes away. Our family had a fantastic time at this lovely home and would highly recommend it!
This is a great property with a great location. Easy drive to Helen, Cleveland, and Clayton. Our family was here for the week between Christmas and New Years. Day we arrived there was some snow on the ground, but the house was so easy to access. Didn’t have to worry about the roads or ice like other houses we have stayed out. The property owner and manager were very easy to work with. House was immaculate and had everything that we needed. We ate in many nights due to COVID and the house was very well equipped. Had everything that we needed to cook and serve large meals. Walked down to the boathouse a few times but it was too cold to do much down there, but plan on making another trip to this wonderful house in the summer. Owner did provide basic information that was needed for WiFi but wish there would have been more information on checkout procedure since we weren’t sure of their expectations with linens. Overall a great week and we will definitely be back.

Thanks for the nice review, I will add a comment to the rental agreement to address linens.
We had a wonderful time enjoying fall break and celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday with our grown children and grandchildren. We have rented this beautiful lake house quite a few times, and it never disappoints.
Great property on a little piece of heaven of the lake. Owners were super nice and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!,,
We have rented this lake home multiple times over the last several years. Our grandchildren along with our adult children have enjoyed our time together at this beautiful home. The owner has been amazing to work with, and we will always cherish the memories made.
Our group of 11 ranged in age from 10-80 and there really was something for everyone at this terrific home on beautiful Lake Burton. We loved that we could all sit around the big table and enjoy eating together. The kitchen was very well stocked and the Green Egg came in very handy for some great meals. Mack who is the manager was readily available and could be at the house quickly if needed. He responded promptly when contacted. We had a situation with ants and he came by with multiple traps and several spray cans of insecticide . The screened in porch with its comfy rocking chairs overlooking the cove was perfect for chatting and whiling away the hours. Lots of card games were played on the porch’s big table. Several of us drove 5.4 miles to take a fun hike (1mile in and 1 mike out) to Hemlock Falls. This wonderful vacation was our gift for our family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was all we hoped it would be and MORE!
We found the property in great shape and easy to locate.
There is no boat slip available without prior arrangement and the “beach” area is very limited.
The community dock has limited swimming availability you can not jump off.
The kitchen was spacious and a great part of the stay.
We had a group of 4 adults and 6 kids between 3 and 10. The house was great because everyone had plenty of space and kids could play downstairs and make as much racket as they wanted while the adults hung out upstairs. The best feature was access to the little swimming beach. It was so convenient just walking down and having a safe little spot for everyone to play and enjoy the amazing scenery and quiet.
We also appreciated that we were just a short walk or drive to some restaurants and outtings. Could not have asked for a better place to spend time with friends and family.
We have rented this beautiful lake home multiple times, and my family always has a wonderful stay. Each time we prepare to leave, we can't wait to return. The owner is great, and the check-in/check-out process couldn't be any easier!:)
Very nice house and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. This house comfortable for larger groups. Ample beds and bathrooms. Inviting screen porch for enjoying the lake view.
We had a great stay at this beautiful home. Tons of room, and everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed trails nearby and saw amazing waterfalls, visited the "unique" city of Helen and enjoyed some cool evenings out on the back porch. It wasn't quite warm enough when we visited, but the community has even more to offer with a cute little beach for little one's to play on, and a roof deck with tons of seating and tables to be able to enjoy the lake. You also have a local contact available if you should happen to have any issues, which we didn't need, but is always nice just in case. Thank you so much Holley family for sharing your house with us. We had a great time!
This is our second time renting this beautiful lake home, and once again, we had such a wonderful time making precious family memories there. The home is very spacious and designed extremely well for multiple families to have plenty of room to spread out. The master bedroom with king bed and master bath on the main level is amazing. There are doors that open to the screened in porch and has a beautiful view of Lake Burton. The guest bedrooms upstairs with a king, two queens, and two twin beds along with private baths for each are perfect for additional guests and children. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cook meals in or enjoy take out meals with family. The screened in back porch has lots of seating including a large picnic table for gathering to do fall crafts, play games, and eat together as well. The basement has an additional bedroom with really cool bunkbeds and another full bath, kitchenette, game table, and sitting area with big screen tv. The house is just a few short steps to the shared beach and Lake Burton. My family loves this lake home, and we definitely plan to return!
Scott has a lovely home that is situated in a great location! It's an easy drive to the house and close to a few restaurants and a marina. Also close to some beautiful hiking trails! The house is in great condition and very well stocked with cooking supplies. Scott and his property manager were easy to access. Would strongly recommend this rentals. We will be coming back every summer!
We will definitely be back. All the rooms had plenty of space. Kitchen setup worked perfectly. Easy access to boat dock and deck.
