Our cottage is a traditional kiwi bach, in a little quiet piece of kiwi paradise. No it’s not the best beach on Waiheke but there are 2 really nice ones in about 10 minutes’ walk. No its not a designer palace but its comfortable, a little quirky and we have made sure that the furnishings and linen etc are good quality and clean. We like to travel and we have stayed in residences around the world. We know what standard we expect and we strive to make sure Flamingo Cottage reflects that.

Perfect guests despite a hiccup on our side. great communication and would host again.
Fantastic bach! Comfy with a great deck and views out to the bay. Loved the record player! Short stroll to the village where there was everything you could ever want! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
This Beachside Kiwi Bach at Blackpool was perfect for our family. It has everything you need (other than no access to the washing machine unless staying for 7 days, we had not realised this prior to arrival as it is not mentioned anywhere. We managed just fine & hand washed a few bits and pieces when required). The location is wonderful with beautiful views out across the water and so close to Oneroa shops and restaurants. We would recommend!
We stayed here for a full week in January. It was a clean and comfortable wee place. Good kitchen and bathroom, lovely linen on the beds.
The porch was my favourite spot. - wide and well covered with large and comfortable furniture.
The location was easy walking distance to a few very different neighbourhoods which was really handy.
The owners personal pantry and bathroom cupboards were not locked away which we found strange but that was the only odd point.
Highly recommend.

While this is our personal holiday home unlike a lot of hosts we are not worried about guests using food from the pantry etc. our expectation is if you use it you replace it. We like to travel and find many of the places to be sterile. That’s not our vibe
Another great stay at this well located property. Bus stop outside or a walk to the village or hire a Scoot getting around is not a problem. The property is well provisioned from beach towels to condiments to cleaning products. Setting looking out to the sea passed the Nikau palm will be remembered for its tranquil ambience.
Well equipped and located property with wonderful views out to sea. Great decks out both sides so you can hide from the breeze if necessary. Kuaka (godwits) on the beach close by was a treat to see. We’ll be back!
