President’s Retreat is a truly relaxing oasis in the middle of our bustling Historic District. This home offers plenty of privacy, including a private courtyard and parking, while being just three blocks from River Street and a short walk from Broughton Street, the hub of downtown Savannah’s shopping.

This modern two-bedroom home has an open living space with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out into the courtyard. There’s plenty of comfortable seating, and a large flat screen TV for some quality downtime. The dining room has seating for six, and is just off of the galley-style kitchen with all the amenities of home. Upstairs you'll find a true oasis: two queen bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath. The back bedroom has sliding doors to a small patio, while the front loft-style bedroom overlooks the living room. Both bedrooms have plenty of space to unpack, so you can settle into your home-away-from-home.

Eat like a local at nearby Zunzi’s, which serves up a unique and delicious blend of Swiss, Italian, South Africa and Dutch flavors. Stopping at Leopold’s Ice Cream is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth. No matter where you wander, you’ll always be within walking distance to this beautiful home.

Fantastic apartment

Very close to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions . Only negative comment was privacy in the front bedroom facing President street as it is open to the lower level and window does not have any coverings/curtains

Modest condo, great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a long weekend with friends at this condo. We like this area and look to stay around broughton street as it allows a quick walk to lots of restaurants as well as the river district. This condo was cozy and had the necessary amenities to suit us for the long weekend. Having your own dedicated parking spot is one less thing to worry during your stay so definitely a nice perk. The condo has nice finishes and furniture, but you can tell it is well used. Some minor maintenance items are needed, like fixing the door lock on the loft bedroom. The strike plate doesn’t line up so you can’t actually close or lock the door. Another concern with that loft room, there was no privacy as tho loft was open. With the bay windows allowing direct view into condo to and from the street, it really could benefit from some blinds/ curtains in the front room. Other reviews call this out, and I agree. Additionally, we did come in the spring time and I know Georgia has lots of pollen during this time. I understand it can be hard to maintain, but there was so much pollen on the front porch it was unusable. Certainly neglected and ignored for several weeks. The front porch furniture was also very dirty and unsightly. Was a shame as the weather was beautiful and would have been nice to sit out and enjoy the evening outdoors. Overall it is in a great location, and had room enough for us to enjoy our evenings after walking all around Savannah. I would rent this condo again, but would request ahead of time to ensure the front porch is cleaned, and there is some type of privacy screen provided for the loft bedroom. It was comfortable and had furnishings to make it a home away from home. Lucky Savannah was also easy to work with. They were quick response in emails, and proactively reached out before the stay to offer additional assistance for the stay. I would recommend this company for others to use as they were great to work with.

The location could not be beaten, most attractions were within easy walking distance, which is exactly what we were looking for. The unit was as described , it was comfortable and clean, however, it did need some TLC. I would stay ther again.

For St Patrick’s day get away we stayed here. Location was amazing. Near parade route, local restaurants and trolley line. Place was clean and well stocked with kitchen and personal needs for an effortless stay. While kitchen is small it is very functional- easy for 2-3 to be working in meal at the same time. Extra bathroom downstairs helped very much with one limited mobility person with us. Check in and out was seamless. Highly recommended.
