About this property

Cowes Coastal Retro Cottage

This quaint, retro, holiday cottage has timber floors in the living room, with split system heating and cooling, comfortable lounge and tv, video, dvd and stereo. Crank up the wood heater and take the chill out of the cooler days.

Well equipped kitchen with electric cooking and microwave has serving window into the dining area. There are 3 bedrooms tastefully furnished sleeping 8 comfortably. The bathroom has a bath and shower. There is a separate toilet and laundry with washing machine - all set up to make for an enjoyable holiday.

The house is set back from the road in a large fully fenced garden. Step out from the kitchen to the outdoor seating area with gas BBQ or move to the great Bali style hut.

Pets are welcome - Strictly outside (Conditions apply)

*Please note that linen is not included when booking this property*
Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea towels.
Alternatively, a link to a local linen hire company will be provided with your booking confirmation.

You will need to complete an online check-in form (Guests are required to provide a photo identification and credit card) closer to your arrival date. If you are not comfortable with this requirement, please refrain from making a booking.

Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise.

A security deposit of AUD500 is required for all confirmed reservations. This will be processed via an online link 7 days prior to arrival and will be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out, subject to an inspection of the property.

This property is located really close to town and the beach which really enhanced our stay as we could walk to shops, cafe, supermarkets and the beach. The beds were comfterble and the house was well equipt. We ate most of our meals outdoors in the little hut and the decor was vey cool... We had a wonderful time.

Run down but great location

Loved location and that block was fenced in but took 24hrs for hot water to kick in and was in need of a good clean.

The house was in a great location to the town. It was a bit more run-down than how the photos made it look. The house also had quite a musty smokey smell inside. Otherwise, it had all that we needed.

Quirky Retro

Functional albeit a little rundown. On the plus side it suited my needs and was an easy short walk to the beach which I loved. I suspect the photos of the outside on stayz may have been taken some years ago. Some grime in places (tea and coffee canisters, kitchen drawers, cupboard doors.... could do with a spring clean
