CAPE ESCAPE is a fabulous place to relax and unwind, with an awesome extensive indoor/outdoor rear patio suitable for dining out or move to the other end for lounge facilities to sit and relax with a wine/beer or two. All under cover and usable 24/7 out of the weather.

If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place for you! This is a stylish and clean modern holiday home.
The open plan living area has comfortable lounges and a large TV and DVD/video player. A split system air conditioner with both heating and cooling, Appliances include front loader washing machine, Gas cooktop, electric oven and all modern conveniences, making this home a truly great place for a holiday. This home is ideally suited for a couple or small family of up to 4 people.

All bed linen, towels and underlays are included for your convenience.


The home is just a short stroll from the magnificent beaches of Cape Paterson with rock pool & long walks along the sand. 2 Life Saving centres, & general store/cafe & bar for a great night out for dinner.

PLEASE - strictly NO smoking inside/patio and NO pets allowed (due to allergies).

Which made the outdoor patio a great place to relax. The house is comfortable and the owners had cleaned up well after their dogs who looked very cute in the photos. Nice walks possible in the area. Coffee at the SLSC or the "milkbar"

Advertise with no pets policy due to allergies. This property is not dog free as covers on had dog hair and bed linen as well. Choose this place assuming pet free due to “no pets policy due to allergies” this was not the case. Accurate description would be useful.

We have a beautiful home in a beautiful quiet location, We have had many very happy vacationers stay in our home over many years We have a private quiet 24/7 patio to be enjoyed by all visitors Thankyou Claire for your inaccurate review The pic you sent us were’t our sheets It didn’t take us long to clean all the dirty dishes, shower & bbq etc you left for us We are still waiting for the washing machine to be fixed Hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in OUR HOME

Lovely introduction to Cape Patterson

My two sons and I enjoyed the week very much and it was the first time we have been to the Cape. We normally do Inverloch but left it a bit late this season. But pleasantly surprised by the lovely beach and roomy house. We would easily return here as much less people than Inverloch and just a short drive to facilities at Wonthaggi or Inverloch. We arrived on a Friday n picked up our keys from the lovely and very friendly neighbour Susan. The house was roomy and comfortable especially the patio area out the back and had everything u could wish for except we couldnt get the BBQ to work but that wasnt a biggy. Without the odd dog hair or two this could have been a fiver. Thanks Alaine we enjoyed our stay catching rays n waves....btw great beach for boggie boarding and pictures of sunsets.

Very pleasant stay for beach holiday

Quiet street and plenty of room to relax inside and on the rear deck. 20 minute walk to beach and cafe. As property is a residence and not a holiday home, there was limited space to hang/store personal clothes and food items. No wifi at property. Wonthaggi shops and services only 15 minutes drive.

The unique advantage of our house is that all our entertainment is at the back of the house any noise out front is barely heard if at all. It is beautiful to sit on the patio & just enjoy to peace & quiet.
