About this property

Banksia Outlook.....

Comfortable and relaxed is how many describe their feeling when they are in this property. The upper living room has an extensive outlook over the surrounding coastal banksia landscape. The deck is large and is great for outdoor dining and cooking on the Weber gas BBQ. There is a TV and surround sound system featuring a Blu Ray 3D disc player. The room is comfortably heated or cooled by a Hitachi Inverter.
The kitchen is well equipped to prepare all sorts of meals you desire. It has plenty of quality crockery and cutlery and a dishwasher.
The middle level is where the entrance room, bathroom and bedrooms are located. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and electric heating. Windows slide open to maximise ventilation and are fitted with insect screens. This level is on the south side of the house.

The lower level comprises another spacious living room. the laundry and a powder room. A surround sound system is linked to the TV. Great to watch a BluRay or free to air. Or listen to music. There are books to read and board games to play.

Outdoors is a large paved area, some of which is under cover. It has an outside shower perfect for a quick rinse after the beach. Plenty of lawn to play on and plants to admire and depending on the season, to eat.

Off-street parking is available for 2 vehicles.

Great spot in Venus Bay

Lovely place well situated atop a hill with views to the inlet and a nice breeze in the evening when it’s hot. Very well appointed with everything you could conceivably need for a relaxing break. Owners were there to great us on arrival and show us around the place. Can recommended unreservedly ..

Wonderful stay!

We had such a great stay at Banksia Outlook! The house was very comfortable for our family of four and the teenagers loved the two living areas. The kitchen was very well equipped and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and looking across the trees. We’ve stayed in Venus bay before and this is by far the best accommodation option we’ve tried. Nick and Debbie were great hosts. Thank you!

The right place to stay

There are lots of places to stay around Venus Bay and many of them are really basic and not very comfortable. Nick and Debbie’s place is not one of those. It is a beautiful well looked after house with loads of space and the perfect place to relax when not down at the beach. Really well prepared by the hosts and they also provided some very helpful info on things to do around the area. Will definitely look to stay here next time we come back to Venus Bay

Great for young families

This property is excellent for young families. The downstairs living area was perfect for our kids to watch TV or play with friends whilst we relaxed upstairs or on the deck. The owners have thought of everything - we barely had to bring anything of our own other than food for a two week stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the BBQ fantastic and beautiful fresh fruit and vegetables to pick during our stay. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. The location was quieter than first estate and only a short drive to beach one and the local shops. The owners are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Banksia Outlook!

Beautiful setting

Banksia Outlook is a lovely quiet property and suited our needs perfectly. Our hosts were there to welcome us on arrival. They had prepared a binder filled with information about Venus Bay and surrounding area plus specific instructions on how to safely use appliances, etc. They us left a gift of wine and some fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden. The home was very clean and the beds comfortable. Everything we needed was available in the well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed using their barbeque and spent time outdoors on the deck enjoying the spacious view. We were within a 15 min walk of Beach #5.

A perfect holiday escape

Banksia Outlook is a lovely property with beautiful serene views over Venus Bay inlet. The upstairs open living, kitchen and dining area is very spacious and further complimented with a superb deck. The out-fitting of the kitchen would satisfy the most discerning cook. The house is modern, very clean and comfortable. The surround sound system is fabulous. I have stayed there twice, once with young grand children and once with girl friends. The downstairs rumpus area is a great get away area so any group composition for a holiday is well accommodated for. The owner Nick is very welcoming. I can highly recommend this house for either short or long term stays.

Clean and spacious

The kids and I stayed at Banksia Outlook for a week over Summer. The weather was terrible here in Victoria so we spent lots of time indoors! We loved the three-level design - it's very light and spacious, great for entertaining etc. and plenty of room to play. The furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils and everything you could need. Most of all, though, dealing with property owner Nick was an absolute delight.
