About this property

The House of Blond

I designed The House of Blond as the perfect getaway for couples, small groups, business stays and long-term rentals.
I provide modern amenities such as USB plugs, reliable Wi-Fi, smart TV, keyless entry for convenience, covered parking for a small car, on-site laundry facilities and a cozy fireplace.
Top Highlights would have to be the breathtaking view it offers of Vancouver Harbour, the comfortable bed and the well stocked kitchen.
Please note that we have a strict no animals policy.
My newly renovated suite in the vibrant heart of Lower Lonsdale. Designed for guests, this space offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you choose to relax indoors or enjoy the stunning view from our wrap-around patio. The patio is furnished with a BBQ, cozy seating, and beautiful lighting. I've recently added artificial flowers to the planter boxes, enhancing the bright and airy ambiance all year round.

Inside, you'll find a queen-size memory foam bed on the Murphy bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa, comfortably accommodating 1-3 guests. The suite features a well-stocked kitchen, complete with coffee accessories, nespresso maker, mocha pot, bodem, an electric kettle, coffee grinder, milk steamer/frother, pots, pans, rice maker, toaster, soda stream, juicer, blender, BBQ tools, and a selection of cooking utensils. Most of the serving dishes and dishware are handcrafted pottery, adding a special touch to your dining experience.

The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV connected to an Apple TV, allowing you to enjoy your favorite shows and streaming services. Cozy up by the electric fireplace (you can just have the light no without the heat) and make use of the cellarette stocked with fancy glassware, serving dishes, and cocktail accessories.

The bathroom features a full-size soaker tub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring.

As for amenities, rest assured that I have you covered! You'll have access to a blow dryer, towels, extra blankets, soap, and a small stock of cleaning tools when needed. There is a laundry room you will have access to also.

Don't forget, just outside the front door, the rooftop deck awaits, providing an ideal spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a panoramic view.

Your comfort and convenience are my top priorities, and I've thoughtfully provided all the essentials to ensure a memorable stay.

Perfect for Vancouver newbies
Coming from the UK we stayed here for our 2-week quarantine (so no going out!) and for a few weeks after. It was perfect for what we needed and Sarah could not have been more helpful. Just what we needed to welcome us to Vancouver

Hey there! I'm Sarah, a true traveler at heart. I've always had a knack for packing up a few things and immersing myself in different cultures to experience the wonders of our world and gain insights into unique ways of life. It's through these adventures that I've truly discovered my passion for exploration. Animals hold a special place in my heart. Their lives and presence are so valuable to me, and I make it a point to advocate for their well-being and protection. Whether I'm volunteering at a rescue or simply spending time with furry friends, my love and compassion for animals know no bounds. Nature is my playground, and I spend as much time as I can outdoors, engaging in various sports and activities. You'll often find me mountain biking, on a lake paddleboarding, harnessing the wind on a wing or kite surfing, or embarking on hikes and camping escapades. The beauty of the natural world never fails to inspire and invigorate me. But the true love of my life? That would be my rescue dog. We're inseparable! She accompanies me on all of my adventures, from exploring the great outdoors to even coming with me to work. Together we are two peas in a pod.

Living here means being within walking distance of the waterfront, just minutes away from the highway, and a stone's throw from the majestic North Shore mountain trails, perfect for hiking, biking, and immersing oneself in the beauty of nature. Lower Lonsdale truly is the best place to be.
