About this property

Granny’s House 2 bedroom, 5 miles to ark! Bonus walkthrough space with twin bed.

This house is 5 miles from the Ark and is 40 miles from the Creation Museum. We are only 32 miles from the Greater Cincinnati Airport. We are located right between Cincinnati Ohio and Lexington Kentucky, 2 miles of Interstate 75. There is a large lake located just 6 miles from the house.

Large old house that sits on an acre lot. The farm with House was purchased in 1943 by Cline and Pearl King. At that time they were told the house was 100 years old and with that being said it would have been built pre Civil War era. They named the road Kings Heights an in the 90s the city changed it to Kings Drive.
Over the years the farm land has been divided out. Part for other homes and what farm is left is owned by a private owner not a family member. The house over the years has had renovation inside and out but a lot of the old remains.
Now we are the Great Grandchildren and are giving others a chance to enjoy the old home and occasional beautiful sunrises and or sunsets.

Very relaxing stay. It was so nice to just visit with each other used the grill to cook steaks and potatoes that was very nice. So appreciative for the washer and dryer to reset for the rest of our journey if in this area again. This would be our pick

We enjoyed our stay at Granny’s house! Lawrence was very kind. The only negative was a few outlets didn’t work, so we have limited places to charge appliance. Otherwise it was a perfect weekend stay while visiting the nearby Ark Encounter.

We chose this location for the proximity to the Ark Encounter and we were pleasantly surprised by a beautiful pre civil war home, it’s simple in decor but perfectly homey. We brought our 13 year old granddaughter with us and she really had an appreciation for the home as well, she thought it was cozy and that it is definitely a place kids would appreciate. My hubby spent time with Lawrence and enjoyed the history lesson of the home and adjacent land, Lawrence is a very kind man. I lived the bedrooms just so cozy and beautiful, bathrooms were very nice too! We lived our time here.

Great location for our family vacation. Easy to visit The Ark, The Creation Museum, Newport Aquarium and a Cincinnati Reds game. Close to Walmart and fast food places for convenience but also equipped kitchen for meals at home. The location is in a nice quiet area. Great place to unplug and unwind.

Granny’s was just as the listing described. We were there to visit the Ark and the house was 5 minutes from the attraction.. Beds were comfortable & house was clean. Lawrence also lives in an adjacent property. He greeted us & told us he would be around if we needed anything. Everything was in working condition. Bring along soap and, if you desire, a fan. We would recommend this property!

We flew in from Denver and met other family from Texas. The house was conveniently located close to the Ark and Creation Museum. The accommodations were clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. The hosts were quick to respond to messages with questions.
