Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The only part that we found a little annoying was that no linen was provided in price.
It's a beautiful secure place in a stunning area.

Overall we had a great time in this property, the location was perfect for us off the beaten track and proximity to walks and the national park was great. We were happy in the lodge, but were frustrated with a few things. Cleanliness overall wasn't great, it needed a good clean, we cleaned throughout our stay including the fridge and outside area. The fireplace couldn't be used as there were no tools and door to lounge balcony didn't unlock so we were unable to use it, which was a pity given the beautiful outlook. Some of the positives were, big open house, plenty of room and places to sit. Kitchen well equipped. Short walk to the beach to watch sunsets, plenty of wildlife including Emu's, Roo's and bird life.
Relaxing comfortable and charming house among the wildlife
We really enjoyed our stay in the comfortable and clean, spacious and well-appointed Long Beach Eco Lodge. We loved the several decks and many windows that really helped us engage with the surrounding bush garden and glimpses of the sea. It was great to have tables and chairs and even couches outside as well as inside. In mid January the birdbath and many flowers in the bush garden brought many birds, a family of emus and some kangaroos and lizards. The kitchen had all we needed, beds were comfortable, the air conditioning, fans and good blinds and curtains meant the house was comfortable even on pretty warm days and it cooled off well when we opened it to the evening air. We enjoyed morning and evening walks along the close-by dune-backed beach and the Oyster walk and despite being right on the edge of the Coffin Bay town we were able to easily walk to the shop via a shortcut. What a delightful visit to Coffin Bay!
We had a wonderful experience staying at the Eco Lodge so close to Coffins Bay National Park and close to town, Although once at the property we felt miles from anywhere completely immersed in nature. Also a sweet view of the ocean from the front deck and living area. Such a great stay we hope to return again some day .
I was so glad we found this place to stay at. So private and serene. Surrounded by bush and wildlife. It was such a clean place and big enough for two families. Highly recommend it.
The positives; loved the location, felt very secluded and private, and close to beautiful Long Beach. Very spacious living area and the deck that leads off the living space is a wonderful place to relax.
The negatives; I've stayed in a lot of different accommodation in my time through work and holidays, and have never experienced bed-bugs until staying here! My wife and I are still scratching....slept on the lounge the last two nights.
The ceiling fan in the en-suite bedroom sounded like it was going to fall off the ceiling. Luckily the nights were cool and didn't need to have it on.
The microwave oven doesn't work. It appears to operate but doesn't heat anything... very frustrating.
Floors were dusty on arrival and we had to wash some of the cutlery and cookware before use.... pretty greasy and dirty.
We didn't use the outdoor setting and BBQ under the rear verandah. Both were extremely dirty/dusty and being a soft cloth material, the chairs cannot be hosed down to clean.
It's not boat owner friendly with the narrow driveway and limited turning area, my boat isn't huge (5.2m) and it was a struggle.
Overall, disappointed given the money we paid.
Would we stay there again? No I don't think so.
