The Space:

Snow settles quietly over the evergreens as you arrive, and the forest seems to close in just enough to create a sense of calm. Inside, warmth gathers around the fireplace while winter light filters through tall windows, framing the mountainside beyond. Days begin with boots drying in the garage and end with steam rising from the hot tub, the stillness of Taluswood wrapping around you.



Living spaces

The main living area is defined by vaulted ceilings and large picture windows that keep the snowy forest in view. You can unwind beside the gas-assisted wood-burning fireplace, watch a movie on TV, or settle into the dedicated workspace when a quiet moment of focus is needed. WiFi runs throughout the home, but the setting naturally invites slower evenings indoors.



Kitchen & dining

A full kitchen supports easy meals between ski days, with stainless steel Sub-Zero and Miele appliances and generous counter space. The breakfast bar offers casual seating for morning coffee, while the dining table gives your group room to gather after a day on the mountain.



Sleeping arrangements

The upper level includes a primary bedroom with a queen bed, TV, and private balcony. Also on this floor is a den bedroom with a twin bunk bed. This space is designed as a den and does not have an external window. The upper-level bathroom features a deep soaker tub, a separate glass-enclosed shower, and a double vanity.

On the lower level, one bedroom offers a queen bed with natural light, another includes two bunk beds and a TV, and a fourth bedroom features a king-split bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. An additional lower-level bathroom includes a double vanity and a bathtub with shower, along with a separate half bath elsewhere in the home.



Outdoor living

A hot tub sits tucked among the evergreens, offering a restorative soak after cold days outside. Step onto the patio or balcony for fresh mountain air, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill available year-round.



Convenience & access

A single-car garage provides gear storage and a boot dryer, with additional driveway parking available. In-unit laundry supports longer stays, and self check-in via smart lock allows for easy arrivals. Luggage dropoff is available for early arrivals or late departures, and long-term stays of 28 days or more are allowed.



Ski access & location

Ski-in/Ski-out access connects you to the Dave Murray trail and the Creekside Gondola, available seasonally and best suited to intermediate skiers. Set above Creekside in Taluswood, the home offers a quiet mountainside setting with shops, restaurants, and the gondola a short drive away.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.

Other Things to Note:

• Quiet hours. Strictly enforced community bylaws state that 'Quiet times are between 10 PM and 8 AM' therefore spa use is restricted to outside these hours

• The Heights is a non-smoking complex. Smoking or vaping anywhere within the home or outside is not permitted and may result in a $500 fine

• Not pet-friendly. This home has a strict no-pets policy and can result in a $500 fine

• No parties. Event celebrations or parties are allowed on this property

• No air conditioning. Fans are provided for all bedrooms

• Vehicle restriction. Trailers and other recreational vehicles such as ATV's, Snowmobiles, Watercraft of any kind, RV's, campers are not permitted in the complex.
